We are going to a convention in Nashville at the end of July. Boston is the only airport around here that offers nonstop flights on Southwest which is what we want. The flights have been $185 each way. With their sales they have dropped to $155 each way. A few months back there were flights for under $100 each way from Boston to Nashville but that price didn't go out as far as our dates. I have thought about buying one way and then waiting to see if prices go down, taking the credit and buying the other way. I know Southwest often has a good sale in early summer. We are also considering just driving. So my question is - would you wait?

I personally would book the flights. You likely will get differing opinions, however.

That's a pretty good price for flying to Nashville. For whatever reason, that tends to be an expensive airport to fly into from the northeast. Book it.

Airfare prices are always so hard to guess at. Agree you will get different opinions. However if it is a price you can live with and is in your budget I would book it as the pp have said.

Well waiting a little paid off for me. Two weeks ago I booked one way at $153 pp. A few days later it went down to $145. Yesterday it was $91 and the other way was $92. Very happy with those prices! :)

Ours has been going p and down every week. Started out at 160, then 150, 191, 151, 200, now today I just checked 139! Booking today. It isn't until October so I will keep checking but I want to get it before it is gone!
