There is a flight to Orlando that has one stop and leaves from Providence at 12:40 p.m. It gets in to Orlando at 4:55 p.m. Flight No. 317. It says that it is one stop, but how can you tell if you have to change planes or if you stay on the plane? Thanks.

Usually two different flight numbers will be listed if you have to change planes.
Example flight 1957/1120
I believe SW flight S317 stops in Philadelphia but you don't have to change planes.

Bo'sMom,

Yogibigdog is correct ....SW 317 does stop in PHL.......I've taken it several times from PHL to MCO and no you don't need to get off the plane, but, I think the layover may be quite a while and you might want to get off and stretch a bit.

This is actually for my inlaws and I was hoping that they wouldn't have to change planes as they are fairly new flyers..also first time at Disney. :) If they get off the plane in Philly, do they lose the seats that they had?

When a plane stops in an airport, it's only to pick-up additional passengers. Once the people who are at their destination get off, additional passengers are loaded on. It's a fairly quick process and I don't think you're allowed to get off the plane unless it's for good.

HTH!!! :teeth:
