Southwest release times????

Does anyone know when Southwest usually releases new rates? I know it used to be Tuesdays at 7am but last week I just happened to check prices in the evening and our reduced rate was available. I booked around 9pm. So now I am hoping to book the return flight at a discount and I am waiting for the next price drop. Was last week just random? Or are all price drops random? Not sure if I should give up for the night or keep checking back.

SWA schedules release dates for new dates, but they do not publish a schedule for rate reductions. Rates depend on demand for the flight and whether or not the plane is filling up. There is no set time that these rates become available. SWA will usually start their sales on Tuesdays, but can reduce rates at anytime. You just need to keep checking.

I saw a cheaper rate today 164 plus taxes from Portland, Oregon to MCO and booked 5 seats 20 mintues later it was 188 plus taxes. Yikes.
