Hi - A few months ago, I booked 5 round trips on SW. Before booking, I asked here about doing one ways instead of rountrips incase one direction had a price increase and one had a price drop. I was told that it is not necessary to do one ways and that you can still take a credit if one direction goes down and the other goes up. Fast forward to today and one of the directions has increased and one has dropped. The total price is a wash. How can I take the credit for the one way going down? I don't see it on the southwest site. TIA

Try going to the tab that says cancel/change reservation. I think it's on the right side of the page. After you put in your reservation confirmation number then you just select the flights that you want. If you still want the same flight just select those flights again and confirm it. Any credit will be put into an account for you, under the original confirmation number. This is how I was able to do it this past weekend. Hope it helps

You can also call customer service if you can't do it over the website and they can process for you very quickly.

You just change the flight that you want to change to get the credit. The other flight does not get changed so you have your originally reserved rate.

Is there any way to tell what I paid for each leg? It only shows the total and I don't recall the exact amounts.

I don't think that once your booked, SWA shows the amount paid for individual flights, just totals for each leg. It's just one of those things you have to remembe to write down.
