Wow I didn't know they'd come out this soon! I booked to Orlando for Jan 13th. Now I have to wait and see about coming home. Oh well, the worst that would happen would be I would be stuck in Disney:Pinkbounc

I just booked our return trip in December.
We got $49 EACH WAY non-stop for a total of $115.20 for each person round trip!
I have never seen a better deal from New Hampshire!

I'm so excited!

That's great, DVCPam. I booked ours for December but the best I could do from Missouri was $201.20 RT non-stop. Hopefully, they will come down and I'll get a refund or a voucher. If not, I'm still happy that I've got my flights booked!

Wow!
It took over 6 weeks to get flights through November/December. This was just about 2 weeks more.

Pam - what are you dates in December? I can only find $131 one way for Manchester to Orlando (Dec. 17). I wonder if I was too late today to grab the $49 fares...

I just booked Providence to Orlando 1/8 - 1/14 for $49 each way!!!! That is half of what I had budgeted for flights, any thoughts on what to do with the extra $?:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Sheesh...they weren't out this morning when I looked...and now the $49 non-stops I wanted for my flight down 1/3 and return 1/10 are already gone. So I booked the departure morning flight with a BWI connection....and delayed the return by one day and all flights were avaliable for the $49. WIth 7 of us going, I'll save hundreds by staying one more night even after factoring in the extra night hotel and meals

As DD says ;) Oh BUMMER Mom, we HAVE to stay another night??

I am going down the 8th-15th. I did notice that the dates after the 16th had higher fares...maybe because they are closer to Christmas?

Goo Luck!

I didn't think they'd be out yet. I had been checking everymorning but forgot to this morning. Realized I better check and they were there. I'm flying from Portland so although I didn't get $99 each way - I was pleased with the $283 round trip I was able to book.

Wooo - Hooo. We are going to Disney World for Christmas. Now I really dive into the rest of my planning.

We had planned on driving from Michigan to Orlando (Arriving on Xmas and departing Dec 31) but since airfare is this low DH and I decided the airfare equates the same as for gas, overnight stays both way for motels; plus we are taking our 23 month old grandson, works out better than driving, won't have to pay airfare for him (he will be two January 5) :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I was glad to see Southwest extend the dates, but I sure wish I was able to get lower fares, but our dates are around Christmas. Got $350 round trip from Tulsa Dec. 19 - 29. This is for other family members.

Our flights from Houston for Dec. 18 - Jan 1 were going to be $380. I just couldn't justify spending this much, so we're going to drive. The difference in total cost for us for my family of 4 to drive versus fly (taking into account staying in a hotel 1 night for driving, and renting a minivan at a good rate reserved back in May if flying) is $2000!

That's a big difference for this trip! I'll just have to remind myself of that big savings when I'm getting tired of the drive!

I've still got a ways to go for our Feb 26 to Mar 6 trip! Those probably won't be out until October!!

Thanks for posting this! I checked last night and might not have done so again until next Tuesday, supposedly when they make their system wide changes.

I'm envious of the fare war along the east coast. Out of Houston the best rate was $119 each way. So, $1008 later . . .

(I'm still glad you posted it , though!;)

Just booked our return flight for the 14th. (booked the flight down a couple of weeks ago, on the last update).

Didn't have the $49 fare listed, but $79 isn't bad at all, making for a total of $176 r/t per person. Not too bad from Philly.

Thanks for posting this! Just booked MHT-MCO for WDW marathon weekend - woo hoo!

Only $230 total r.t. for both of us! :hyper:

Now off to find a rental car deal...:magnify:

Well lucky you. For my return trip back to Manchester for Dec 12th
all the cheap fares were unavailable. and I checked this out around 4pm. This is a sunday. I know they probably blocked them out for that day. Cheapest return is $119. I been watching every day for a week checking evey 2-4 hrs.. Not to happy here. hehe

Pam,
Looks like we'll see you there. We will be there from 12/10 to 12/19. We've been waiting for the SWA date extension so we could book the return flight. So glad I decided to give it a quick check yesterday morning. $49 each way PVD to MCO. Total round trip for 3 people $345.

Looks like we'll have some extra cash to blow on Main St... :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Well, I just played around with our dates and have managed to grab the $49 one-way fares for all legs of our journey. Yeah!! It means my son will have to miss an additional day of school - I hope the teachers will be okay with that (a total of 4 days). I've always homeschooled - this is his first year in a traditional school (9th grader) - is the school going to be very upset? At least it's Southwest - if I have to change the dates I can without penalty, but it will cost me almost $100 per ticket more if I do!!

I can't believe how cheap southwest is!!! We are going down Feb 7-17, and although the rates aren't that far along yet, I figure they will be similar to the Jan 4-14 rates.....so anyway for our family of 3 we can get BUffalo to MCO for TOTAL $403 USD (and those are non-stop). I really can't believe it!! We live in Toronto so the drive would be about 1 1/2 hrs, but the cheapest flight I have been able to get up here for the 3 of us out of Pearson (Toronto) Int'l is $1100 CDN - the Southwest works out to $540 USD - more than half!! Even if we spend $100 on a hotel in Buffalo we are ahead $400 - enough to get a towncar to AKL when we arrive ;)

Thanks for the heads up. I have been checking both ATA and Southwest for 2 months, just waiting for the Jan discounts to kick in. Southwest was the winner. Got 4 RT nonstop tickets from Indy to Orlando for $546.80. Best ATA could do at this time was $680, and that had a connection thru Chicago, yuck. Nonstop was $800 total for both ways. Now have airline tickets bought, hopper passes bought, CBR reservation made with one nights deposit paid, just waiting for AAA discounts to kick in to lower that price. We leave 5 months from tomorrow, Jan 1, 2005. Yippee!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
