Southwest getting credit...need a quick answer please...

Just a heads up SW gives you credit towards another fare. You do t get any money back.

That would be fine.... I still cant find where on the website to do this.... If I search for 2 tickets its the lower price-if I search for all 4 it jumps up in price so that means I could get credit for two of us.

You don't apply for a credit per se. You need to go in and change your reservation to get the credit. When it asks you to select your "new" flight you merely select your old flight again at the new, lower price. It will then show the credit.

Correct - just log into your flight, hit change and then pick either a new flight or the same. Assuming you originally purchased a Wanna Get Away fair the difference will be held as a credit for the passenger to use in the future. NOTE: only the passenger can use the credit for that particular ticket and KEEP this confirmation number in a safe place - when it comes time to use that credit you will need the confirmation number.

4 days in a row my Feb 14th flight dropped - I was able to rebook all 4 days for the lower rate. I paid in points - so my points just went back into my account. Love SWA for this!!!

Thanks for the help ... I will keep checking to see if it drops for all 4 of us. I cant get it lower for just two of our tickets and when I plug in 4 it jumps up higher than I paid for it originally.....

Just in case you are new to the SW Travel Funds club like me, read my post about my $12 vouchers. Very informative!

I would definitely watch those fares& get the credits if you can, but learn from my post & be super careful before you actually USE them. $25 pp may not be worth using when the time comes
