It's a shame that SW used to be counted on for not changing flights and now they are like the rest.
I just checked my October flights, it was the first time I've seen the new site. I have to check my settings, I thought I was on 200% everything is so big.
I've had times change on every SWA flight i've thus far this year, most minor.
Huge issue with one i booked for January, 2015, coming out of SJU. A connecting flight & they changed the original departure which eliminated the flight entirely since connection too tight. As a result we would be cooling our heels for 8 hours after our ship disembarks, then another 3 hrs waiting for a connecting flight home.
All airlines let you make a free change or will refund your ticket when they make significant schedule changes. This isn't unique to Southwest.
see above SWA issue. Only two flights home that day that were do-able. One was over $700 pp at that point! We used rapid reward points to book the original one but only 8,600 i.e. over 2/3rds cheaper than the pricier flight. They asked me what flight i wanted. When I indicated the $700 one, they obliged and there was no addition charges. Was shocked they didn't insist we book a later flight since it was in ballpark of the same price we originally paid.
I'm happy
