Southwest's flights are now available through August 24th.

We were waiting for Southwest to expand their reservation dates into June, due to their fares being some of the lowest.

The cheapest found from California was a little over $400 apiece, round trip. The cheaper "Internet Specials" ($169 each way) were all blocked out.

Delta wanted $396 apiece two weeks ago, but upon checking today I got what I wanted for $288 apiece (red eye to get to WDW in the morning and a late evening flight home - to maximize our four night stay). Could have picked a pair up for $246 (round trip) apiece! That's CHEAP, but we would have to be at the airport coming home at 0600 hours.

I expected to see a drop since oil prices declined down to $50 a barrel (from $75), but was pleasantly surprised it happened so soon. I am sure Southwest will drop their prices soon enough (airfare wars - gotta love it!).

Now we are committed! love it. Going to activate my AAA quote hold (the package) on Monday, even though I have until 20FEB.
