You might want to check some SW dates that are open to get an idea of what fare you can expect.
I have a feeling that you may find the RDU flights more expensive this year. Here in Nashville we have SW and we are still running around $200. In past years I could get it for $150, but I have not seen that in 2003!

Gayle, maybe I wasn't clear in my post that I had E ticket and didn't check bags (so I wouldn't get a boarding pass from the ticket counter). Did I miss something? I would hate to keep track of something I didn't need.

From SW:
At a growing number of airports, Customers will need to bring one of the following along with their government-issued photo ID* to proceed through the security checkpoint:
1. A Boarding Pass or
2. A Security Document and Itinerary/Receipt or
3. A Security Document and Ticket
