Southwest Discounts after Purchase

If SW should post a cheaper fare after my purchase (Internet Fare), is there a way to receive the cheaper rate, other than cancelling one reservation and adding the other? If not, will they at least apply a credit towards a future purchase?

you have to first cancel the exisiting reservation and then book your new reservation with the cheaper fare. On the page where you enter your information to pay, it will ask you if you have any ticketless travel funds available. Click on it and enter the name of the person who paid for the trip. (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) and the confirmation number of the old canceled trip. It will bring up the reservation credit, click apply, and continue. Any difference remaining as credit will be good for future travel up to 1 year from the time of the first purchase.
