A little tail wing icon will appear in your notifications area, lower right corner on a PC. It also makes the ding sound that you hear on a plane, hence the term Ding.

Got DING'ed today as well. DW and I are going to Vegas next month. We already booked our flights but I was hoping to rebook at a possible lower fare. The DING fares are actually more expensive than the Wanna Get Away fares.

Here's a screenshot of the fares showing all the DING fares $3 more than the WGA fares.

This is making me crazy! I can see the DING list on my app but when I click on the offer, the app quits and closes! Now I have to wait until I get home from work only to see that all the DING fares will be sold out. Grrrrr....

It's possible that no DING fares were offered. On the picture I posted, those prices were for our flights home. The flights going showed as being sold out as well. Could be the flights are already getting close to being full therefore no reason to offer DING discount fares.

Thanks to all here. Just did research and found answers here. I installed DING about 2 weeks ago. I used to use it a lot many years ago and was surprised that it hasn't gone off once since I installed it. Each time I open it says the same "No messages to display..." I do have about 5 airports selected. Maybe I'll change settings to all just to see if they are very limited now.

They have not sent out any Dings in almost 2 yrs. I think they no longer do it.

My Ding! app no longer shows an 'Update Registration' link.
