Has anyone ever been able to get a credit changed? We bought a ticket for my daughters friend to come with us to Florida. She is no longer able to come. Is it possible to get the credit changed to another name or are we out of luck?

If you wait for it to expire & are willing to pat $75 they will turn it into a Luv credit with a 6 month window to use it and you can use it for anyone.

I had a big hassle with Southwest credits & I am pretty sure this is the case. I would definitely call their customer service & find out. It would be worth it. There is a special phone number you may need to call. I did, but I don't know what it was. It was not an 800 number, but the regular customer service people were able to direct me in the right direction.

Well, assuming you purchased a ticket that was non-refundable and that you were the one that actually paid for it.

Best of luck! :)

If she can't go for medical reasons, you can fax a note from her Dr and they will refund the credit card used to purchase the ticket.

I believe this is true. My family has 3 tickets (1 conf #) with credits for $119.10. I called after they exp to extend them. I was told I'd get 3 vouchers each for $44.10. The vouchers are not passenger-specific so we could pool them, or use them for anyone.
