We just became DVC members, so we have been going to Orlando about twice a year since. Here is the problem - the Southwest credit.
After I book my airfare, I always seem to get a better price and end up with Southwest credit. The problem is when it expires.
For instance, if I bought tickets in July 2005, they went on sale and I got the credit (which would expire in July 2006 - one year after the original purchase date). So, we would apply that credit to our next flight. Then, the flight from the second trip goes on sale, and we get a credit, it will also expire on July 2006 (one year from the original date).
Does that make sense to you? Have you had this happen toyou? How do you avoid this?
Any suggestions?
