Peoplemover - one of my favorite rides always has been absolutely love it

Perspective - I enjoy hearing other peoples thoughts and ideas on things and gaining a different outlook because you know you may not always have the right one or yours needs to be fine tuned or my case severely tuned

Pets was never allowed them as a child and I thoroughly enjoy having them as an adult people have said to me why would you get another dog because they are the most wonderful companions why did you get another cat well I didn’t I got two because again they bring me immense joy age should not matter it should not matter if I am 20 or if I am 60 I heard your perspective on it but I just didn’t follow it but thank you I enjoy having my pets

Afternoon everyone!

1. Pizza - my go to treat food or what I usually turn to when I want a quick meal or takeaway.

2. Pasta - such a versatile food that you can have in so many different ways. I'd struggle if I ever had to cut it out of my diet!

3. Pyjamas - pyjamas are my comfy clothes, they're what I put on when i know I don't have to go anywhere and can just get cosy in the house. Also pyjamas come in so many fun styles and prints, there's so many different Disney options and I wish I could have them all!

Parties - I love a fun gathering.

Pavement - It's much easier on my feet to walk/run on pavement.

Plows - Not that it snows much here but there was a time in life when I appreciated plows.

Patience. The Little Guy has been here since Thursday morning and by now, I am just taking deep breaths to get thru the rest of the afternoon. I love him and he's usually pretty good for me, but I am having achilles tendon issues and am fairly uncomfortable. Add to that a somewhat mouthy 9 year old boy, and you'll understand my need for patience and why I am glad I have some!

Pansies. These were my mother's favorite flower, so I grew up in a house surrounded by pansy plants every spring. My mom, a very active alcoholic, and I had a complicated relationship, but every time I see the colorful, joyous face of a pansy bobbing in the wind, I can remember having good times with her.

Appliances, basically all the modern conveniences we take for granted. I remember hanging laundry on the clotheslines to dry every week, using a fan blowing over a big old chunk of ice to keep my great grandmother cool in August, and my nana had an actual ice box in her basement that she used for about as long as I remember (in addition to the regular fridge in her kitchen, which funnily enough had a freezer drawer in the bottom and was considered 'cutting edge' at the time!). Where would we be without our washers and dryers, microwaves, a/c or heat pumps, etc.?

My Nook- and basically all electronic readers. I have bad astigmatisms and a cataract and it's impossible for me to read books anymore, especially in bed. I would be lost without my Nook.

The laptop. Actually all computers and the internet. EVERYTHING we are able to do now is attributable to the development of computers. There is no way we would have survived covid as well as we did without the internet and our computers/phones to keep us connected.
