Southwest code

I bet that code is only out of Philly. I would love something because our one way fare is about the same we have paid in the past for roundtrip. There have not been any dings! either.:sad1: I am going to continue to hold out. Hopefully something will become available for when we want to travel. Otherwise, I will drive!

Here is a little airfare tip......Check on Tuesday evening. They cut rate then. We were able to get 4 tickets out of Philly end of Sept, round trip for $550, no codes. :)

I got the code and I live in Nashville. When you book, all Southwest cities are in the "From" list. So your point of origin doesn't matter. If you can find somebody who isn't using theirs, you can use it.

Also, I've had good luck after signing up for Airfare Watchdog -- daily tracking of fares from cities you input. Cuts down on the sleuthing you need to do.

I have airfare watchdog and farecaster. Any program that helps me watch I have as I need to find a good price.

I was able to use the Nashville 1/2 price special that came out today to book our flight, so I have a $30 PIN for flights to Orlando that I'm not going to use. If anybody can use it pm me and I'll send it to you. Just please don't pm me if you can't really use it. It's for flights from any city that SWA flies to Orlando only. Here are the term & conditions:

$30 discount valid for one-time use at southwest.com or swabiz.com off the total amount of any roundtrip Wanna Get Away purchase for travel to/from Orlando International Airport (MCO) before taxes and fees. Purchase must be made between April 17, 2009 and May 2, 2009 for travel April 24, 2009 through June 16, 2009. Blackout dates apply May 21, 2009 through May 25, 2009. If any portion of travel falls on a blackout date the discount will not apply. The discount is only valid with the provided Promotion Code and is not combinable with other Promotion Codes or fares available exclusively through the web tool DING!. Discount does not include taxes and fees. 7-day or more advance purchase may be required. Roundtrip purchase required. Changes made to the itinerary after purchase may eliminate qualifications for this promotion. Reservations made through southwestvacations.com are not eligible for this promotion

Why do some of you get Southwest codes?? I am on their email and get an email every Tuesday. I also got the email for the different cities. I am a Rapid Reward member. What other thing do I have to be doing to get a code. I feel really left out:sad2:

The code I got was only good for flights to Orlando. I suspect I got it because I typically fly to Orlando two or three times a year on SWA, but I haven't flown there since last Oct.
