I am hoping to return to WDW in Oct. but I not 100% sure it will work out. Our flights just dropped to $89 each way which is awesome. I would like to book them now, but what happens if the trip is a no go. How far into the future can I use the credits? 1 year? Also do you just get a credit for that amount so you can use it for anything like a weekend to Vegas or something next summer?

Thanks!

ie, travel COMPLETED not just booked, by one year from the original purchase date. So if you bought the tickets today (7/8/11) your trip to whereever you want to go must be done by 7/8/12.

Yes, it's a credit that you can use to purchase tickets to anywhere.

I've done this many times and had no problems at all. Good luck!

Just wanted to add that the funds from the cancelled tickets must be used by the same person whose name was on the ticket originally purchased. This is a change from the former policy which allowed you to book travel in anyone's name with those funds.
