Ok. So, I booked our flights many months ago for our May trip on Southwest. I always pay the $10 fee per person so they will check us in on the 36 hour mark.
Well, I have been monitoring the flights and they added some Airtran flights. One became available that left an hour later and arrives 45 minutes earlier as it is a direct flight. (all other flights were not). So, I rebooked it to this flight.
My question is - Airtran does not do the Early Bird Check in and does assigned seats. Should I be getting my $40 back because of this (there are 4 of us).
