When will they open up their schedule? I thought today was the day? I don't have home computer access today and can only access at work so I sure hope they have it up soon!:confused3

According to an email I received "You're in luck. We are accepting air reservations through October 30, 2010 (as of 12 PM CT today)."
:)

They aren't yet. Hopefully they will sometime today. I just assumed when they released them it would be at like 2am. Glad I didn't stay up late or get up early.

Under "News" on the SW.com homepage, it says they are accepting reservations thru 10/30/10.....But the Book a Flight only goes thru 8/13/2010

They are obviously making changes to show they will be accepting later dates today, as there are a couple of place that mention being open thru oct 30th, but the important part hasnt changed yet

We are here waiting very patiently(NOT) for the booking window to open today. I have to say we find it very exciting.

Received the same e-mail. This is 1 PM Eastern Time, which is later than usual. However, my guess is it will open up earlier. (At least I'll be watching for it.)

I just wanna make sure I'm doing this right.......So if I book 2 one ways, if the price goes down on one I'll be able to get the credit....rather than if I booked one round trip if one part of the flight goes down and the other is the higher....then I would have to take the 2 new prices I wouldn't only be able to change one leg of the trip. Correct?

yes, it's better to book 2 one ways for price changes

Great! Thanks for all of the replies! I sure hope it does go up at noon! I won't be able to get online at home tonight!

FYI....I just tried to do a mock one for Mayish (cause that was the lowest fares w/ 89 pp one way..to see how much the total would be) and it keeps giving me an error. I wonder if that means anything lol

That's only true if you're not going to book them both right away. If you're booking both directions today then you might as well book them both on the same itinerary. You can get a credit on either direction even if the other direction goes up. I've done it myself. SWA makes it very easy to get the credit for only one direction of your trip.

If you're booking only one way right now and don't plan to book the other for several weeks at least then you can use any credits accumulate from the first part towards the second.

But if a DING! comes up, you could have issues. I still will normally book one ways, just in case.

Can someone explain what the DING does...do they offer amazing rates even lower than the specials they have on their site? Just wondering what the benefit is of downloading the DING

While that's true theoretically, the last time I tried that the other leg of my trip went up. I had to call to get it issued correctly.
