Southwest Airlines Question

Does Southwest charge to change your reservation?
I am working on my trip, and I am currently planning on driving. I have seen SWA tix get low enough to make it worth flying, but knowing how I love to change my rezzies with WDW I amwondering if I would be able to change the date on my flight.
ie. If my budget allows for another day, I'd like to be able to move the date without too much pain. (hence why I like to drive)

The only charge you would incur is if the rate of your flight goes up when you change it. Otherwise, it is really painless to change and you do it online yourself.
Also, for some reason, I remember its always better to book two seperate one ways with southwest instead of one roundtrip ticket. I cant remember why, but maybe someone else can chime in and help explain why. I think its because if one leg of your flight goes down in price and not the other, you can rebook that one leg to get the cheaper fare?
