Southwest Airline question

Not always. There have been posts where people got low B's with EBCI. If alot of people buy it, it's possible to not get an A. Rare, but it can happen.

We just flew to and from Orlando at the beg of Dec and we bought EBCI and three of us had high As and my 8 year old always had B1.

We still love SWA and we had no problems finding seats together.

With a B boarding pass you will get a window or aisle seat without question. When you get to the C's you're almost certainly going to be a center seat.

Nope. He will be getting a center seat near the back. The 737-300 holds 138 passengers with only 46 aisle and 46 window seats.. If no passengers are on the plane and there are no business select passengers then a B55 is going to be the 100th person to board (A 60-15 and then 55 in B). If there are business select, pre-boarders and then family boarders that board before B1. He could be the 115-120th person to board. Also not the overhead bins on a 737-300 are very small. Only carry on what you want to sit with, as all overhead space will be long gone by the time you get on the plane.

If the plane is a 737-700, there will be the same number of seats but way more bin space.

The $10 fee for Early Bird Check In is worth it. We had A17-20 on our outbound flight and A19-22 on our return flight. We basically got to pick anywhere on the plane we wanted to sit. I walked past about 5 empty rows at the front to sit back a few rows. I like to be towards the front of the plane so we can get off quickly but I don't like being RIGHT UP FRONT. I definitely do not like being at the back of the plane. It can take 20 minutes just to get off the plane because you have to wait for the whole plane to get out of the way before you can get off. There's no reason not to have a good boarding number because SW tells you when you buy a ticket about the EBCI whether you buy over the phone or buy online they prompt you to buy the EBCI.

Depends on who if flying. When I was just in the A rewards group I have gotten A60 as a number. Now I am A preferred and I still may only get A30. I have seen all 15 of the BS seats used. If you get a plane that is a connections, those people will get to move seats before A1 boards.

Sorry but my experience has been different. I have yet to get center seat with a B pass.

What you are probably forgetting is the number of couples that will be traveling. Couples tend to sit together (either an aisle and center or window and center).
