Southwest has $49 flights from Philadelphia to Orlando. I already booked and paid $64 on Delta. Oh well! I hope this info is useful to someone else!

Yup, I just got the email from Southwest as well. $49.00 from Hartford to Orlando. Just what I've been waiting for.

Me, too! I just went from $79 to $49 BWI-MCO! Now I have more credit to use for our January trip. LUV SWA!!

Do you know how long this sale is for? Only a couple of hours? I emailed my daughter since she's waiting and hope she takes advantage of it. She only needs one seat, so the odds are good.

The sale is through August 4, 2005, midnight Pacific Time. 14 day advanced notice is required though and is for travel August 18 through September 29 for Florida.

Is there a promothion code or something for this fare? I am in Phila. and I do not get the $49 price

Darn, we are flying out on the Aug 4th. Wish the $49 sale started then. Well, I guess I'll keep checking. They are still showing availability on my flights, so maybe I'll get lucky.

Boy, I wish DD's B-day was a few weeks later. First free dining and now this. :teeth:

When are your dates??

I got my Sept. 29 flight for $49, but coming back Oct. 4 it was still $79. Oh well, $30 is $30!!!! :teeth:

I already booked for August and our fares just dropped. Can someone help me with how to get refunds or vouchers. Do I just call Southwest??

Thanks for posting. My daughter jumped on this offer and booked her trip to MCO out of BWI. We are leaving before her and returning after her, so she needed a lone ticket. She likes SW and travels on them for work often. We, however, are Dulles fans and are booked on Independence ($119 rt).

She said thanks for saving her money!!

OK you need the Confirmation number and credit card holders name.

go to www.southwest.com
click on travel center (up top)
select change air reservation
select the cheaper flights
follow the instructions.
you will get a credit that you can use on a future flight.

Tomi: Just call Southwest to get a credit towards future travel.

I just called and cancelled my $68 fares, got the credit, applied it to my $49 fares!!!! We will have $91 to use towards our future travel (we're going in Dec, so it won't be long before we use the $$$)

I thought $68 was GREAT for traveling on a Saturday. I had no idea they'd lower it to $49. :confused3

Now, I'm still waiting for AirTrans to republish their $59 fare for our return flight!!!! Yes, I know it's more than the $49 at Southwest, but the time is a little later and it's direct and the return on SW isn't. I'll pay the $10 extra for a direct flight (we have DS9 & DS4) and a later time (more WDW time). AirTrans has been at $79 on our return flight FOREVER!!!!

Pixie dust to everyone else trying to get the SW fare!!!

Don't you just love getting a good deal???

kpm76 - Thanks so much for the info. I followed your steps and now have $120 worth of credit !! YAH !

nuzmom - I tried calling Southwest but they wouldn't do it over the phone bacause I had originally booked over the Internet. Good luck with your other reservation. Tomi

buf mco setptember 17 - 24 115.40 r/t

last week the best we got was 217.40 r/t and that was with a ding fare...we now have two t/r for the price of one last week...now that is savings and we will not have to use one of our RR awards ( may have to extend it a year by paying 50$ but it still more cost effective )

looks like they will still be having good fares ...smilawgs

Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Just saved a bit off my DD and my previous DING fare and was able to book my DH's weekend flight since he decided to join us for part of our trip. YEAH!!!

I Had booked, buf to mco, when flights were first out. Now, the difference is a whopping $544. So, i did the online credit, but the fellow there gave me their direct customer service number. I called and she instantly credited my amer express, for the amount. So that is a great savings, woohoo. You must have done the credit online first before you call.

I just got the credit for the future too, but would love to have cash back instead. Can you share the customer service number? Was it a big deal or did they just say sure, we'll crdit your card?

It was put back on my credit card, the number is on their site, you have to call houston. She was fine, just confirmed everything and said, credit would show in 7 to 10 business days
