I just got an email this afternoon with the subject 43rd anniversary beneficiary and it says I was selected as a beneficiary and gave me an email address to contact. Did anyone else get this? I'm not one to fall for stupid scams but this almost looks legit.

I did not, but that does not mean it's not legit. I'd use a little caution given you have to contact an email address after they contacted you.

A quick way to see if it is a Phishing attempt is to click "reply" and then look at the email address that you would be replying to. If it is southwest.com it most likely is legit, but lots of times they'll be to southwest@gmail.com or something like that..... big red flag....

you can call SWA and ask them about it.... I would hesitate to click on reply if it's a fake....a world of trouble in there if it is
