Here's my dilemma.... I need to find a Disney store somewhere along the I-95 and I-4 corridor to get my Saturday fix of pins. I only know of the Florida Mall in Orlando, and I'm not sure I'm going to make it all the way down there to stand in line at 7 A.M. Also, does anyone know what time the stores are supposed to open? One CM told me at 8 A.M. on that day.

in the outlet malls at St. Augustine off of the I-95 is that too far North for you?

Holy Cow,
Do they sell the current pins at the outlet? I only thought they sold the CTM series at a deep discount.
No, I figured Southern GA, Jacksonville, St. Augustine is probably where I'll be that Saturday morning.

...I'll be able to give you an exit # off I-95 for the Disney Store in the Avenues Mall in Jax........it's 20+ miles from where we live, but we travel that section of the interstate every Wednesday and Thursday night (late) on the way home from the kids' dance classes. Unfortunately, I've never paid any attention to the exit #, but will be happy to do so this week, and will then post the info. when we get home....

And yes, you're partially right about that outlet store in St. Augustine......they do have the Millenium pins, but at absolutely *NO* discount......outlet or not! And no, they do not carry the current 100 Years of Dreams pins.

Hope this helps,

Christy

Christie,
Since I need this info for my trip on 12/1, I can definitely wait til Wed or Thurs for a response. It's called planning ahead. I definitely don't want to miss getting the birthday locket pin and since I'm traveling down I-95 that weekend, I needed contingency plans. Thanks for your help.
Also, thanks for the info about the outlet. I've always considered stopping there and buying some inexpensive traders. I'm now glad I stocked up with Disney Gallery pins at $0.99!

As you are on 1-4 approaching Orlando.....there is a mall the Seminole Town Center, just past Deland
and after you cross the bridge over Lake Monroe you would get off on Hwy 46..and the mall is right there

It is on the first floor backside of the mall....it is also a gallery store..one of the larger ones..

I hopes this helps..

Donna

Any word on the exit in Jacksonville? Are there hotels/ motels close to either this one or the one in Deland? Thanks again for all your help.

...just now finding time to post, but yes, I have the exit info. you're looking for...

Take exit #98 off I-95.....this exit is also known as U.S. 1, and "Phillips Hwy." I recall there is also a sign marked "Avenues Mall" near this ramp. Follow this circular exit ramp around and take a left at the light. This is U.S. 1 South. Stay in the left-hand lane and pass through the first light. At the 2nd light, take a left. This is the entrance to the mall.

As for opening time, here's the phone # for the Disney Store at the Avenues: (904) 363-3755.

You also asked about hotels. I'm sure there is lodging in the area, but can't recall any obvious ones at the moment. I do know that there are various hotels one exit prior to #98. Confusing as it sounds, the exit # is 100, and is named "Baymeadows Road" (there is no exit #99 heading south on I-95).

Hope this helps.

Christy
