If anyone from South Jersey flys out of Philly, do you use a shuttle service to pick you up from your house? I'm trying to find one (on 2 weeks notice) and just curious who you use. Any help would be much appreciated.

We parked in the extended parking lot at the airport. I think it was about 10.00 a day so it added about $70.00 to our vacation costs. There is a shuttle that gets you from the parking lot to the airport and vice versa on the return trip. It was much cheaper than Rapid Rover and also nice to know that our car was there waiting for us when we returned!

Thanks, but I don't plan on returning (at least not anytime soon)! I'm moving down there and am just looking for a ride to the airport.

We used Rapid Rover once. The trip was fine, but the driver smoked in the van when there were no passengers in it so the whole thing reeked, which was not good for my asthma. We have parked in the long-term lots, but lately we leave our car at Winner Ford. They drive us over to the airport in our own car and they handle the luggage. We pay the extra $10 to leave directly from the airport rather than taking the driver back to Winner Ford.

We've used rapid rover several times and never had a problem. One time our driver actually knew a lot about philly trivia and acted like a tour guide for some out of towners in our van. It is easy to book with them with two weeks notice.

We've used James Limo several times. (limos and vans)
They're very punctual, professional and have reasonable rates.

fwiw, last time we drove to PHL planning to use the economy parking lot, we pulled up to the terminal at SWA to do curbside baggage check. I pulled over behind a Rapid Rover van, still leaving almost a car length in between us. The driver turned around, spitting mad at me, and screamed waving both hands, "Back OFF!" I was so stunned. There was more than plenty of room for him to get the luggage from the back of the van. At that point I swore I'd walk to PHL before I use RR. Also unless you want to pay extra for private service, they will drive you all over SJ picking up other passengers. When I called for an estimate once, they wanted to pick us up like 4 hours before our flight.
So for now I'll stick with James when we don't want to park; just depends on how long we'll be on vacation. For short trips it's cheaper to park.
HTH. :goodvibes

Rapid Rover. I believe you can get a personal pick-up (more $) or a group pick-up, where they might be picking up others in the vicinity.
