I'm so glad to see everyone still doing so great. I haven't had the time to read it all yet, but I will get to it. My body doesn't know which time zone it's in yet :confused3
 
I lost one lb this week on Phase 2 - week 2. Total of 9 on South Beach. To be honest, it is slower than I had hoped, but it is realistic. 9 lbs in four weeks is good any way you look at it. I also had a couple of flubs last weekend, but this is a lifestyle I can live with, so I am glad.
 
Hi everyone!!

I haven't done so well the past couple of weeks. I started letting myself have little cheats, and they have turned into bigger cheats (give and inch and take a mile). I have gained a few pounds over the last couple of weeks. I am going to go back of Phase 1 next week. I seem to do better on Phase 1. When I go back to Phase 2 I need to add things in more slowly. I feel a little down right now, but I know I will pick it back up :goodvibes The good thing so far with South Beach is when I fall down I have been able to pick myself up and start over again.

Hi Lisa - Good to have you here. Yes this thread is active but it seems to run in waves. Some days there are a dozen posts other times it will go a couple of days and no one posts.

Sheree' - Welcome back. Hope you had a great time. You will have to tell us how the trip went.

Good news, I think the bicycling has helped. My weight is starting to creap down again. All total for June I lost 2 lbs. And almost half of that was this past week. We will see how things go for July. Hopefully my weight loss will pick up a little bit more.
 
execise is great for the weight loss Jeremy. I'm still working out 6 days a week! I find that it really helps me keep the weight off.

I just started phase 1 today. My question for you all is, what can you drink on phase 1? My brother said just water. Can that be true? Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks. :sunny:

On phase 1 the only thing he doesn't want you to drink is fruit juice and regular pop. You can have diet pop, vegetable juices, sugar free kool-aid, ice tea, etc. Also, in an update last year, they added up to 2 serving of skim or 1% milk to phase 1. Good luck getting started.

Ok 3rd times the charm right? Well I'm getting ready to give SB one more try. My question is what else can I have for breakfast besides eggs? I like eggs but maybe every other day or something. I need to fill in the egg gaps. Any good suggestions?
 
plenty, have a salad. Grab some chicken breasts and have them. I look at it this way. Whatever I can have for lunch or dinner, I can have for breakfast!!! :)

Welcome TigerCheer. I just started on Tuesday! I have so much to learn. I am trying to remember all the items we ate last year when we were on the Beach....also, I am beginning to read this thread from page one. I am up to post number 90. So far there are two recipies! Yeay! :disrocks:

Good luck! I will post again upon Tuesday morning weigh in. (I hopped on the scale a few times, and the weight yo-yo's, but at the lowest I was already down 9!!!! Let's hope it's not a false positive for the real weigh in on Tuesday morning!) :confused3

I never thought of that. It would take some getting used to, but I'm willing to try it.
