South Beach Dieters......... Unite

I couldn't stand the wait for my weigh-in day any longer so I got on the scale this morning...I'm down 5 lbs already! I'm right back where I left off. I'm so excited. Why did I stop in the first place??? This way of eating works so well for me!

I'm going to get myself a 15lb. clippie ~ I'll bet it looks great on me!
 
It's me again :p

I'm looking for quick - eat in the car - breakfast ideas. I'm not a big fan of meat in the morning. I like breakfast bars but I know they aren't SB approved. Has anyone ever made their own? Any other ideas besides cheese sticks?
 
Whoo Hoo, Mary! I hope I get down 5 lbs by Saturday. I would be so thrilled!
For breakfast, I do cheese omelettes and mock french toast. I just whip a couple eggs with, cinnamon,maple flavoring, cream of tartar and some splenda. Then I cook it like a crepe and use sugar free syrup. Really good.
 
I caved in a major way tonight. I gorged on a bunch of candy from the Halloween loot. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

So far so good. I weigh in tomorrow. Hoping to see that second number on the scale changed. It would put me back where I left off, before I fell off program. I did real well yesterday. Now I have to make it through the weekend.

Mary, don't worry over the candy. Today is a new day, fresh slate. You're doing great. I have such trouble avoiding sugar too. Know what I did? I went online to thebodybakery.com. They have all these lotions, bath cremes and hair and body spritzes that smell like bakery items. They are awesome. So instead of eating a cinnabun, a relax in a tub full of cinnamon bun bubbles. Or I slather myself in sugar cookies. Somehow it really helps my craving. I feel like I cheated when I didn't! And I smell really good!

I weighed in this morning and guess what????
I lost 6 lbs this week! I am so excited. That puts my total weight loss at 36 lbs since I started South Beach after having my baby. (of course, I did fall off for a few months and put 10 lbs back on, but almost all of that is back off now.)
So how do I get a clippie? Do I go for the 5lb from where I started back up? or make myself feel really good with a 35 lber?
Not sure which would motivate me more. Any suggestions??

Congratulations! It's so great that the weight just slips right off.

There is a thread at the top of WISH that has all the clippies. Copy and past the clippie to your signature in User Profile. I think you should get a clippie that shows entire weight lost. You have lost it and should be very proud.

Wow! I just love looking at that clippie. I know I will stay on target for sure now. Can't wait to lose some more.

I lost a total of 2 pounds this week...bringing my Phase I total to 12 pounds! :)

I'm going to add exercise in this week, as the physical therapist says I'm clear to go...so hopefully with exercise and this new healthy way of eating I will shed some extra....hoping to have a total of 15 off by Thanksgiving and then another 10 off by Christmas....I'll take more, but I'll aim for those! :)

Way to go Tara! I am sure you can make your goal. I find excercise really speeds up the loss. I had TOM this week so that wasn't an option. But this week I am going to really try hard to work out. Congrats again on the loss!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Checking in. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I weighed this morning, just to make sure the weight was still off . It was. This is my final week of Phase 1. I know I will cheat on Friday with a glass of wine at my SIL's wedding but other than that, I will be strong. I feel so much better. All the bloat is gone. I swear I blew up like a balloon when I was off the Beach.

Hi guys, I haven't made it all the way through your thread yet but I'm on my 3rd day of South Beach and wanted to join in with you all. So far I'm really liking it. I'm never hungry and already I feel less tired as I go through the day. I also, as the person above me just mentioned, don't have the bloated feeling anymore. I think it's going to be great! ::yes::

YEAH!!! I just jumped in two weeks ago...you're doing GREAT if you're feeling better after 3 days...it took me about 10 days to lose that dragging feeling...I think I was very much a carbo addict in denial! :) I'm on week 3 and just had my first 1/2 slice of whole wheat toast! And I didn't want more than that! :) I'm hoping I can stay this course until goal...hang in there...we'll get there! You'll bee SOOO Happy when you see the scales after week 1!!!! Drink lots of water and keep up the GREAT work...let us know how you're doing!

Welcome Princess! Yep, sure is good to lose the bloat and get energy. I had a bad headache when I first started out months ago. I fell off program for a while and just started back about a week ago. It was much easier this time as I didn't have near the sugar stores I did before. The energy came faster too. Glad to have you on the beach.

Just checking in. I've been doing HORRIBLY (is that a word :confused: ). As long as the Halloween candy is around, I can't seem to stop myself. Ugh. Anyway, the scale hasn't gone up which is good. I really need to get back on track...I have a prom, I mean formal auction to go to in a couple of weeks. I was hoping for a nylon-free flat tummy by then.
