South Beach and Chicken Soup

I just started a plan that is very similar to South Beach. I just started Phase 1 and I'm all excited to start seeing some results. Unfortunately I also just came down with a nasty cold. Does anyone know of a phase-1 approved chicken noodle soup recipe/product. I guess it would be without noodles then...
 
You should be able to find many on line recipes for Chicken Stock/Broth-- usually with a whole/ cut up chicken and veggies like onions and celery and carrots and garlic. Or you can use a good canned broth and some cut up chicken and add veggies like the onions, carrots and celery and mushrooms, even some spinach or other things you like. A good beef vegetable soup would also help. That hot nourishing liquid helps you to fight those germs.

Just remember that while eating healthy is important, it is also important to give your body what it needs to recover from an illness. That may not always be what is on your "diet" plan but the illness is temporary and the healthy eating should be long term. A few days of noodles may delay you but won't put you off track. When you feel better get right back to the plan you are following.
