MK Lunch?

Another resort option that I personally love for a lunch break is to grab the boat to Wilderness Lodge, and a short walk over to Geyser Point which sits out on the lake. Quiet, relaxing, good food, full bar. The boat ride back and forth from MK is a great break for a long MK day, and for some, the boat is as good as some of the rides in MK (I love boats).

Time of day is also a consideration when looking for a quiet meal. We are early eaters. Dinner at 4:30pm is normal for us at home. Our meal schedule works well for us for avoiding chaos when on vacation.
A few things.
BOG lunch is a strange one for us. Aside from the price, the selections don't really scream "lunch" to us.
If your husband is looking to have a beer, quick service is out. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but there is something so refreshing about a light beer mid day at MK in the heat.
The Monorail isn't too far from the main entrance. It takes more time, but riding the Monorail is so WDW that it might not be a bad thing.
We've done LTT and Skippers a bunch and have always found them to be on the relaxing side by WDW standards.

Take the monorail over to the new restaurant at the Poly tower.

Beak and Barrel is fun, they do have a strict 45 minute time limit, something to keep in mind!

Also, you'll often be standing (limited seating). I know for many this is not an issue, but this is a deal breaker for our crew. We want to be off our feet when we're breaking for a meal.
