I don't think there is, unless it's a local airport rule. I've had flights delayed until after midnight. What really matters is crew rest, they could timeout.

To answer the question, it depends on how long the the pilots for your flight have been working that day and the FAA rules regarding how manyy hours a pilot can operate an aircraft in a given 24 hour time period.

Hope you got home alright. MacArthur does have the time restriction of arrivals after 11 but I have seen flights come in a bit after that. We live about 2 miles from the airport.

SW also has a way a making up time so even if it left at 9:20 you should be home right around 11.
