I have heard mixed reviews... I'm looking for the whole truth - good and bad!! Please tell me your personal experiences - esp lately. We are planning our May 30th-June 5th and were planning on booking this service to take us to Pop Century.

Also if you have used Tiffany which grocery store did you stop at?? We're looking for low prices but also a liquor store next door.

Thanks in advance guys!!

Carrie

We used TT in Nov. 01, again in August 03 and then Dec 03. We have had great service every time. Our favorite driver isn't there anymore but the other drivers have been fine. We did have one driver who was pretty quiet on the trip to WDW. Even my dd mentioned it. But, he was much more upbeat on the trip back. They have always been right on time, both ways. We have used the grocery stop just once. Our flight was almost 2 hrs. late, so our driver asked if we minded stopping at a Quick-Mart type store. It had everything we needed, including beer/wine!!! Even the corkscrew. But I understand that they do stop at regular grocery stores. Nope, we have no problem with TT at all. Oh. We have had parties of 6, 3, and 2.

anybody else??

also how far in advance can you book - would you suggest i book now and pay via credit card so it's done with? i called and they said you can do it up to 48hrs in advance!

We took them to the port and back two weeks ago.

They were prompt. The driver was fine. The car was in decent condition. We were delayed getting off the ship and he didn't complain about the wait - or even show any irritation. The only complaint I have is that I made a reservation over the web, and when I called them, they didn't have it, so we made another reservation. That concerned me a little, but they had apparently just moved offices or something.

They didn't exceed expectations, but they certainly met mine. We will use them again.

I'd book a little closer to your trip.

We most recently used TTC in August of 03, November of 03 and just this past Feb 04 - presidents week.

All three times we had different but excellent drivers. Met us in the baggage claim, helped with the luggage (its just me and my two young dd's) and promptly got the car. The drivers were courteous but not to chatty and took us to Kash N Karry the first two times and an Albertsons in February for the free grocery stop. All three drivers were patient, offered us their discount card and helped me pack the cooler and put the groceries in the trunk, not necessary but nice! IIRC the KNK had a liquor store next door but I don't remember if the Albertsons does. Just mention your need to the driver and I imagine they will accomodate you if they can.

The return trips were also fine, they picked us up 2 hours before flight time and that was plenty for AA and then Jet Blue. The first two times the driver was waiting when we got to the front doors and the last time we waited about 2 minutes.

I will use them again for our October trip.

I book about 3-4 months out. I have gotten, in the past, email confirmations. My trip in August my flight changed and I emailed them the change. Never got a reply. I called them the week before we left, just to double check and they didin't have a record of the change. Then she found the email. My advice?? Call the week before, just to make sure all is fine. Should we have to do this? Probably not, but I always do. I even do it with my resort. Kind of like measure twice, cut once.
TT does not have you pay before you use them. We always have paid by credit card when we are dropped off at our resort. We tip that driver and then tip again for the return trip. Just once we have had different drivers on the return trip.

We have used Tiffany on at least 6 trips, plus have refered them to friends. We have never had any problems -- they have always been on time, friendly, clean cars, etc. Once we were even delayed cause our luggage missed our plane, they waited with us for an hour as the luggage came in on the next flight. I even used them in Oct when it was just DD and myself, even though Mears would have been cheaper.

We are using them again in Sept, I have always been extremely happy with their service.

You can not pay in advance on a credit card? How do they take your credit card when they pick you up?? How does that work? I was hoping to have almst everything paid in advance before leaving. Also is $10 tip each way (there are three of us) fair? I had planned on giving that to them in cash - didn't think the credit card thing would be this way.....

Used Tiffany in 2000 & received excellent service. Made the mistake of using another service in 2002 & was somewhat disappointed. Already reserved Tiffany for upcoming trip. Looking forward to it.

It works quite easily. They just take an imprint 'the old-fashioned' way!!! I also tip in cash, both ways. $10 sounds good to me. That's about what I tip also.

We just used Tiffany three weeks ago- had a great experience with them - prompt service both ways, had a wonderful driver named Roberto, we did charge our round trip and tipped him $25. in cash total as we saved quite a bit by picking up our car at the Dolphin and using the limo to get to and from the airport. It was worth it!!

Just got back from a trip where we used them. Didn't use the grocery stop this time, but we did last time we used them, and they stopped at a nice Albertsons on the way. We were going to and from the Pop Century as well and everything went smoothly and great. We had different drivers each way (which was not the case last time, but I recommend tipping in cash each direction separately so that you know each gets their part, just in case). Our plane was a few minutes late, but the driver was there waiting, helped us with our bags, got the car quickly and we were there before we knew it. On the trip back the driver was there just when he said he would be and got us to the airport with more than enough time. We would highly recommend them. Paying with a credit card is no problem, they just take an imprint the old fashioned way. Think about it this way, it's that much less you'll have on your card before you leave, right? Make sure you get the coupon off their website (or else get a passporter, which has an even better coupon for them in the back!)

You can get a Passporter direct from Passporter.com. If you don't want to wait for it to be shipped, you can also find them at Barnes & Noble or Borders. I highly recommend Passporter. I have the deluxe version with the leather cover. It's packed full of info and pockets to put your plane tickets, theme park tickets, receipts, etc. and you can write all of your pertinent info on the pockets. I also think it makes a wonderful keepsake. Enjoy!

Just used them this week. Picked us up Sunday and returned yesterday. They were prompt, even ahead of schedule and took us to Publix on the way into OKW>

We had great drivers, who were prompt and courteous and we stopped at a Publix, which had beer and wine. We would definately use them again and have recommended them to friends. We saved by using them!!!!

The Passporter coupon is for $8 off roundtrip, MCO to WDW. The Tiffany coupon online is for $5 off roundtrip.

We used Tifffany the last week in February without any problems.

Our only complaint: The driver barely said two words the entire trip. I think the problem may have been that his English wasn't very good. After several attempts at conversation, we gave up. It made us feel very uncomfortable and the ride seemed endless! On the return trip, we had a different driver who was more talkative, which made for a much more pleasant ride.

We'll be using them again on our next trip, hoping for a friendlier driver.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Well first we used Tiffany for years and never had a problem. When I was younger one of my earlier jobs for a while was a Limo driver. This company had strict rules that the drivers had to abide to. We could not talk about anything that could cause controversy (politics, religion, personal matters etc.). Dont forget you are as much of a stranger to the driver as the driver is to you. A lot of times you do not speak unless spoken to. In other words the driver is just supposed to be there to get you from point A-B with out being a distraction to the customer. Now sometimes the customer just wants to talk. If that is the case I found I could relax and have a nice conversation. This works well with just one or two people in the car. But remember the driver is there basically to drive you. He (or she)could have just dropped the customer's from hell off just before he picked you up or he is running late and has a lot on his mind or just not feeling well. They can not tell you how bad his day is going but just to get you to your destination on time. Hope this helped.
