Special thanks to FLeisure for all the great information on the SoulFire Dinner Theatre!:)

There were 7 of us who attended the show (Tony & Tina's wedding)last week and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our 24 day trip! We've never laughed so hard:p

You actually feel like you're all a part of this wedding and it's difficult to try and eat your dinner as there is so much interaction going on all over the room. The actors even sit down at your table and chat! The food actually was quite good too although I would have been happy without anything as this is so funny. The actual price of the show is $46.00 but if you go over to Billy Boys discount tickets on the 195 you can get them there for $29.00.;) Well worth the drive to experience a great show.

The only downside to the whole show is that it's all over in about 2 hours and we all would love to have stayed and been a part of all the "zannyess" a little longer!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Sammi,

do you have any other details about thsi show.Where it is etc. Is there a website to have a look at it?

Thanks :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hi Karen! I just "bumped" up a past thread entitled "Soul Fire" by Pat Elliot and there's quite a bit of information on the show there. Also here's the web site for it:

http://www.soulfire.net/

We really had a great time and it's really close by to Hotel Blvd. and Disney. It's in the Lake Buena Vista Factory plaza on the 535 (Apopka-Vineland Rd)

Hope this helps and by all means try to see it as we haven't laughed this hard in a long time! Well worth seeing.:)

Hi Pat! LOL :D

Great minds think alike!!!:D

Did you see the show yet?:)

I've not seen the show. But that's the first time I've been compared to a great mind today!

Actually, we've decided on the "Hoop Dee Doo Review." After much debate in the house, this will be our last "adult" visit to Disney (first child coming in September). We're really doing it up. We'd originally wanted some "out of Disney" experiences, but have decided to spend the entire June trip "on campus." Having read your review, I might add a night out...

Pat

Congratulations Pat!;)

I'm sure that whatever you decide to do that you'll have a wonderful time BK (that's before kids)!!!! LOL:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Thanks Sammi & Pat,

Do you think a boy of 13 and a girl of 16/17 will enjoy the show as well as adults?

Hi Sammi,
Glad to hear you enjoyed the show. :) Thanks for sorting out the price on alcohol....$3 it is !

Kazzie,
Everyone in the family will love the show. We had 6 year olds, 9 year olds and upwards in our party and everyone enjoyed it. It's a little slow to start with but then the pace hots up and it becomes real fun.

Oh yes I think any age would have a good laugh at this show. I think that once word spreads around Orlando about this dinner show then tickets will be much harder to come by.:)

Sorry for the delay in replying.
Thanks to you both for answering, this is now a 'must-do' for October.I e-mailed the company who said 'Tony'n'Tina would still be on then.

Thanks for the info on the other thread as well.I have printed out the coupon buy one,the other 50% off.As a family of four could we use 2 coupons by booking seperately.Or is that greedy? Also if your seating is pre-allocated we might get seperated if we do seperate bookings?

You're very welcome Karen!;)

But take a look at my first post at the top of this thread because you can get tickets for only $29.00 instead of $46.00 at Billy Boy's Discount tickets on the Irlo Bronson Highway (I92) and there are no strings attached such as Timeshare tour etc. There were 7 of us that went to the show and we all bought tickets form Billy Boys in Kissimmmee!:) Here's the site for them:

Hope you enjoy the show as much as we did!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Sammi,

Alll I can say to that is wow:) I had printed off the $5 off voucher,I won't be needing that! That is a great price.

I was also thinking of doing the Sea World Laua or Sleuths and they are on there too:p

Sammi,

Can I ask,if I buy the tickets from the UK and either pay to have them delivered Or pick them up (we are staying off the 192 anyway) how can I book a reservation on the night I want to see the show in advance from the UK? Will they not expect me to make a payment if I want to make a reservation over the 'phone?

Afvice gratefully received:(

PS. Their prices are so good if you hadn't said I would have sworn there was a catch;)

Hi Karen!

What we did was (since we only had 3 days to choose from in which to go to the show) I called the reservations phone number...you'll find it here:

http://www.soulfire.net/

and was able to book the show for the following evening (Tuesday we went) as the show is down on Mondays and If I'm not mistaken, Sundays too. I went and bought our tickets next, as I said we only had 3 days left in which we could pick from, but that turned out to not be a problem as there were plenty of seats available for all 3 nights.:)

The reservations desk asked how I wanted to pay for these tickets and all I had to say was that I had pre-purchased the tickets from Billy Boy's and that was just fine.

I'm not too sure about delivery etc. as we were down there and just picked our tickets up (as a lttle downside side note while we were in Billy Boy's someone smashed our rear driver's side passenger door and left the scene! but that's a whole other story!)

Note, that on their website they also have an email addy that you can write to them and see what's what.:)

I hope this helps you and I'm still here if there are any other questions I might help you out with!Good luck and I'm sure you'll have a great time!:)

Sammi,

Thanks for the quick response.I e-mailed Billy Bob's and they replied quickly too.So I can just make a reservation and they are fine with me saying I already have a ticket, great!

Doing all this has got me all excited about October.Oh how many happy hours I spend doing what could be construed ( to the uninitiated,ie not DISers ) as nothing;)

Hope everything turned out OK with the rental car? That happened to us in Spain last year and luckily we weren't charged anything:(

You're very welcome Karen and I hope you enjoy the show.:D

We haven't heard from Dollar Rental yet as to what we owe (we have a deductible which I think will have to be paid out in US dollars:( )

Please let me know how you enjoyed the show after your trip.;) :)

Sounds like you had a wonderful time!!!:)
