Where are you staying in Vegas. We were thinking of a quick summer trip but have never been so not sure on where to stay.

We are staying at Excalibur. This is a BUDGET trip as I am still on Mat leave. We had not planned on going anywhere this year but my DSIL decided to get married in Vegas so we get a vacation. Kind of. We are going with my in laws

But we do get 1 full day to ourselves and I am looking VERY forward to that. We had planned to stay at Treasure Island but they do not let you check in on a Sat (I was suprised at the # of hotels that were out because we were arriving on a Sat). I had already purchased our non-refundable air so our choices were limited. But it is acastle so maybe a can close my eyes for a few minutes and pretend I am at WDW.

I will also say that planning a non WDW trip is not nearly the same fun.

Have a great time! ANYwhere away from winter in Canada is a vacation. Too funny though, I was just (and I mean 2 minutes ago!) looking at a brochure for a 4-day trip to Vegas staying at Excalibur flying out of Toro for a really good price.
