Sorry to vent...

Well my gymnastics teacher Ms.Lisa was in and out for a couple of weeks. Like two weeks before , she was here and last week she was out. So this week , which was floors week, our class thought she was coming back out of knee surgery or something that had to do with her knee. We were all wondering if she was okay , but expected the very slightest. We saw all the instructors hugging her so we got a little worried but that quickly passed. Anyway , I made a card for her for everybody to sign saying we missed her and are excited to have her back. Well time rolled around , our teacher wasn't there. So my friend Brooke asked if she was okay. Miss Joanne , the co-owner said no , she has cancer and they do not know if she is either in Delaware with her mother , in the hospital , or too upset to answer calls. Also , we are getting a new teacher Ms. Allison who is supposedly really really nice and has been teaching for three years. She will NEVER replace Miss Lisa. She knew that we were the only class who she was really friends with so she didn't tell us too weeks ago because she didn't want anybody to be upset. Ms.Lisa was more than a gymnastics teacher. She was our friend. She would of laughed when we told her about our latest inside jokes , issues and boyfriends. Like Emotional Awareness Week! She taught us about the word hate and to never give up and always focus on gymnastics and not the compettetion. Please keep her in your prayers even if you don't know her. I don't know how to think or what to feel. Will she die?

it depends how bad the cancer is... treatment for cancer has gotten alot better so if she gets a good doctor and if the cancer isn't that bad she has a really good chance of living. Don't worry I will pray for her!

i'lll definately pray for her....thats really something. a few members in my family had cancer, and they ALL BEAT IT. i guess it sort of runs in my family, but nobody has ever passed because of it. well, remember everything about her and what she's taught you. Enjoy your new teacher and have fun in gymnastics!

An old teacher of mine recently passed away from cancer, but her cancer was very bad... it's not a good feeling, I know. I will definaltey keep her in my prayers, and I hope for the best! I hope she gets better
