Sorry for the "Paws"

Oh my gosh- all morning!!! I officially hate Lady and the Tramp!

I'm almost thinking about not going to Tony's Town Square because of my hatred for Lady and the Tramp now. and the "paws" usage is no longer cute.
 
Haha! Not.at.all. It actually makes me want to take a hammer to the screen!
 
Well today was our 180 day mark. I was able to book the first day ADR on line, but got the old PAWS response for anything else. Had to call to finish our ADR's. Very frustrating.

Yep. Me too. I'm so glad I got up at the crack of dawn for nothing! It took forever on the phone and completely threw off my morning. I didn't get off the phone until 8 and still have to call to make some additions/ changes because they still haven't fixed this glitch! It's so disappointing that we spend the extra money to stay on property and can't even take advantage of the "perks!"

For me, the worst part is the 180-day mark is the next exciting moment of the vacation after booking the trip. This experience dampens the excitement. Of course, it doesn't kill it, but it defeats the purpose of the 180-day milestone (which they even make a deal about when they send you those date things with Dumbo) - maybe I hate dumbo now too!!! ;-)

I'm on the west coast, and got up at 3 am to make my reservations. I gave up at 3:45 and went back to sleep.

I encourage everyone to email guest relations (or guest service or whatever it is). They will respond.

Finally today was 180 days from the last day of my trip, so I don't have to see Lady or Tramps 'paws' anymore. Perhaps they should rename the perk "180+10 or 180+180+180+180+180+180+180... if you are the small percentage of people who our website all of sudden doesn't work for" :rotfl:

We have a 3 resort split stay. Got up Feb 20th for first resort stay to make ADR's (only got 'sorry for the paws' :guilty:); had to call in at 7:00am. Then got up early again on Feb 24th for second resort stay to make ADR's (once again, I only got 'sorry for the paws' :crazy2:); had to call in at 7:00am. So tonight I called IT in hopes that when I get up early Feb 28th for third resort stay ADR's, it will be solved. CM was lovely, but told me 'everyone is experiencing this - no one is able to get in so at least it's all equal'. I don't believe that is the case though ... some people are getting through I think??? She said 'we are working on it'. :confused3 So I will plan to get up for 6:00am Feb 28th, but I will be prepared to call at 7:00am :headache: Good luck to everyone::yes::
 
Its all I am getting... some are getting through, I got availability for the first 5 minutes and then sold out for the dining with an imagineeer.... It's terrible that you play by their rules and then some get stuck. I'll email them, but its not like they can extend availability.

That's not cool! Sorry you couldn't get dining with an imagineer. I'm afraid it's going to happen to me when dates for wishes fireworks cruise open up.:confused::eek:
 
I don't understand why they haven't fixed this yet! So frustrating!
 
I also went through this awful experience! My 180 day mark was a few weeks ago, but I got the 'Sorry for the Paws' screen all morning and into the afternoon. It was very frustrating and definitely brought me down on what should be a celebratory day!
 
So, couple of days ago, I've sent an email to Guest relations to express my feelings about Lady and the tramp:dog:
Here is the lame answer I've just received.

"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

It is highly likely that your challenges may be caused by the split stay. Another reason that could be a possibility such as if the lead guest is duplicated on the profile, please review your "Family and Friends" to make sure the lead guest is only listed in the top banner and not as a Family or Friend. If you continue to have challenges in the booking process, please contact the Internet Help desk at 407-939-7765 to have a Cast Member review you account to make sure everything is linked correctly.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us."


My family list is perfectly fine and I had no difficulties to book ADR for my first stay!
I directly contacted IT, they said my account was fine and they looked puzzled when I mentionned the paws!
So if a lot of people are having an issue to book 180+10 because of a split stay, they should resolve it.
IT should work on that matter pretty fast and cast members should not act like they don't know what you're talking about.
 
Grrrr!!! Got up again at 6:00am and got the 'paws' message:mad: Guess I will be calling in again at 7:00am. Good luck everyone.
 
I wonder how many of us will be bunging up the phone lines this morning at 7am?
I would like to think that they would open up more phone lines / offer more CM agents on the phones, since they know there are issues booking online. But, I'm not holding my breath :sad2: I feel sorry for the CM phone agents who are about to be bombarded with calls:crazy2:
 
Some lucky people are getting through as I am watching adrs disappear before my eyes.

That's what happened at my 180 day. I was so agitated and there was nothing I could do about it until I finally got a CM on the phone at 7:20! She was sweet, but clueless and I didn't get off the phone until after 8. I have been going back online at 180 for each day of the rest of my trip to tweak/ add some things as I do not have the patience to call every time I want to adjust a time! So incredibly frustrating when we all pay a fortune for these trips! Ugh- end rant! Lol

We've been going to Disney for over ten years... we've run into this issue the last four trips. The only thing that has changed is the error message (and after a couple of instances they are all annoying).

Apparently Disney has no desire to fix this issue.
