Sorry for the "Paws"

I ended up calling -- and was told by the CM that I could only book one day at a time, even though I'm on site at the Grand Floridian for 6 nights! :furious:

So I hung up and called back and got another CM who booked everything I wanted without any issues.

It just goes to show you that you can get good CMs and bad CMs.
 
I have been trying on and off since Sunday and still have not been able to book one ADR. I gave up and called today and stupid me did not write down all the confirmation numbers and now they are not showing up in MDE either....grrrrr
 

This happened to me today. The woman at dining said she had no idea what I was talking about and connected me with IT. They immediately told me it's a known issue. I asked how long have they known and she said since MDE started. I've been going for years, and this is the first time it happened. Luckily I don't have any hard to get reservations, but I'm on the West Coast and woke up at 3 am this morning to make my reservations (after making your resort reservations, that 180 day mark is the next exciting moment for us). I got no apology or even a hint of concern in the CMs voice just "well I can connect you back with dining at they will make all your reservations for you." Is this 1999? I only just learned today that my iPhone makes phone calls. :rotfl2:
 
I have been trying for days not even aware this was happening to other people! The MDE tech department told me they would put a ticket in to resolve the issue. I don't even know what that means! I've called four times and each time they tell me the same thing! Thank god I found this thread! I hate that I can't modify or make new reservations. That's my favorite part! I feel like they know what's going on and are giving me the run around!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

It cracks me up because this problem has been going on for months---- people have called complaining for months !!
And yet--- Disney tech acts like this is a new issue and/or an old issue that they can't find a way to resolve- easiest thing to do (unless you want to book each ADR that day online ) is to call -- once you give the cm your hotel conf #, they should be able to book your +10 days for you without a problem --
 
I encountered the same problem yesterday with being unable to access ability to make my 180 + 10 day ADRs. Experienced a totally frustrating hour only to call the dining reservation # to book every one of my ADRs except for my first day. When I asked the CM what the problem may be, she told me she's worked as a dining CM for three years and nobody has ever been able to book the +10 ADRs online on the 180 day mark! I quickly reminded her that I was able to make them for my 2014 and 2015 trips, but she said that was impossible and I must've spoken to someone to do it. Can you believe that!?! She said we can only book the first day, then the rest must be done by calling in. Grrrrrr!!!!! I was able to secure all the ressies I wanted but feel like I missed out on the early morning ADR-making fun, which coincidentally happened to be a Saturday no-work-day morning for me. Up early, set up my laptop and iPad, cuppa tea in hand...

Afterwards, I looked into it online and found this.

Scroll down to "Using Disney's online dining reservation system - Important notice". Apparently this is a known glitch that many of us experience. Couldn't find a date on the article but it's at least updated to 2016.

Overall, a very, very disappointing experience. Can't play around, go back in, modify times, switch days, etc until the 180-day mark hits every single day of my trip! A big UGH to Disney!!!
 
I'm so sorry for the frustration but I appreciate you posting because it helps me to keep calm for my 180 tomorrow, and just call when I can.
 
For what's it's worth, I wrote an email yesterday to disney about this yesterday and just got a call back from some big wig! She was unaware of the issue! Pulled up my reservation and tried to make a dining reservation for the 2nd last day of my vacation and saw the issue. Saw all the dates show as being able to book dining reservations but could only do those that were at 180 days or less. Not the plus 10. I told her it was a known issue and that it's all over message boards and fb pages and that a lot of people call in and tell the people on the phone of the issue. That I have always been able to book my +10 at my 180 day mark and that it was very frustrating for those that get up early and are excited to make them as it's all part of the experience. Anyways she was going to look into the issue! Maybe if everyone emails them they might finally clue in that there is an issue!
 
I've been getting the "Paws" screen since 6am today (its now 6:42am) every time I try to book BOG during the 180+10 days (I have an August onsite resort reservation - it shoes up as bookable in the calendar). But, no problem making ADRs for June (less than 180 days).

Ugh. I can see that the 8am BOG ADRs have already gone. Guess not everyone is getting the Paws.

That's great! You're right, maybe if we call and email enough the issue might be looked into and resolved. I need to make reservations tomorrow morning. Keeping my fingers crossed!

please let me know if you can do 180+10 online. I'm curious if this is affecting a lot of people or just a few. I wrote an email and received a call from someone. She was sincerely concerned about whether i had gotten all the ADRs I wanted (not sure what she would have done if I hadn't - luckily I wasn't trying to get anything hard). She said she would make sure my concern was passed on to the higher ups in IT.
 
I was able to make all my ADRs two days ago using Safari on a Mac. I initially tried on my husband's laptop using chrome and IE, but was unable to get any past my first day.

Back in 2013 I couldn't make ADRs at 180+10 online either and had to wait to call at 7:00am - very frustrating.

Once again no online reservations for me! I had to call and the poor CM was the slowest person ever. It took 30 minutes to make 2 reservations. I finally gave up because I had to get to my real job. I'm going to try tonight! :badpc:

I was having a problem this morning adding a few more reservations. Hitting refresh didn't work, but signing out and signing in again did. I'm sorry for those who are having problems. I know how frustrating it is.
 
tried safari, IE and chrome. No luck. Good thing I'm not looking for anything too difficult to get for my dad's trip. Not interested in calling so daily check it is
