Sorry but I’m lost again 7 month window

We do poly booked for 1/30 to 2/5 we were hoping to change to BCV at 7 months which is wed. I’ve been watching and it was open for our whole trip until today. The first day of our trip is booked up for BCV. so at this point what are my options. Should I take another resort thst we’d like to try could we change again if BCV comes up. So now my 7 month has changed to 7/1 for BCV. Since the first day is gone. Is that correct. Would a waitlist help at all. Any other tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all. Definitely do a wait list if that is what you want. Your 7 month window doesn´t change, but you can waitlist the original first day. Try for another resort if you want and then change to BCV if you want. Check every day, multiple times for BVC to come up if that is what you want, and keep the waitlist active.

Thanks for the encouraging replies. I had the mindset since my original check in is 1/30. Since I wasn’t able to get that first day that my 7 month window would have to change by a day since now I wouldn’t be able to check in till 1/31. So on wed if the text of days are still open at. BCV could I change my check in day to the 1/31 then. Maybe even add a day at the end so we still have a 6 nite trip. Again sorry for all the questions. We just bought into theDVC a few years ago and all the trips were straight forward

Yes, you can try for the 31st and take as many days as you want, up to a point, like 10 or 30, not sure about that. You have 7 months out from the day you want to check in. If you are flexible, you can keep doing it that way, or put in a waitlist for the original days you wanted.

To clarify, you can not try and book the 31st of January until July 1st.

On June 30th, if January 30th is not there to book, it won’t let you book other dates as the first night of the 7 month window has to be available.

You can waitlist or keep trying day by day, or book something else as you still try for BCV.
