Sorry, another DDP/DVC Question.

Okay, I am sorry if this question has been answered before.

I think my senario is a little different than previous questions obout the DDP.

On the first night of our stay, my family (me, DH, DD4, DD2) will be staying in a studio at OKW. My mother and her husband will also be staying in their own studio the first night. (doing this to save points. 4/14 is a huge amount of points for a 2 BR) We will be arriving late and don't want to use the points.

On day two we will then move to a 2BR lock-off (Hopefully the other half of one of our studios) for the rest of 7 night stay.

My question, because we will be in seperate rooms on day one, will our DDP be seperate. Will my family have their own plan and my Mom and her husband have theirs for the whole trip? Does it become one plan on day two?

Does anyone know the answer/ Has anyone had to do this?

Since you are changing room type, you should have two seperate reservations, and will need to check-in again when you move to the two bedroom. Personally, I would not have the Dining plan for that first night and add it only to the 2 bedroom portion of your stay.

Each separate reservation will require a separate DP. For day one, you would have a separate DP for each room. For the rest of the trip you will have another separate DP for everyone in the 2 bedroom. You can choose to have the DP for all 3 ressies, 2 of them or 1 of them. (Maybe you don't want to pay for DP the first night since you will be arriving late).
