I think my nieces (9 and 13) and nephew (11) will like doing this. They are not big thrill ride kids so we have lots of free time. I just need some clarification:

1. We have an 8:30am ADR at BOG the first day. Is the Fire station open early? Will we be able to get the cards before this or do we have to wait until the park "opens" at 9am?

2. We plan to do Fantasyland, Adventureland and Frontierland on three separate days. Can we ask for a quest in the land we plan to be in?

3. Can three kids play together or will fighting ensue? Can three separate games be played in the same land?

4. How much time do we allow for this?

1, No the firer house dos not open that early

2yes you can ask for a land but once you are done with one land it will send you to a random land and some lands it dose not take that long to do.

3 how well do you kids get a long if they could each do one so 9 dose first one 11 dose second 13 dose next then start all over

4 you can allow as much time as you would like

I would play together and take turns opening portals. During the actual play, all three kids can hold up a card to fight the villain.

It can take some time, especially if you have to wait for your turn.

It's great fun. My 9 yr old loves it!

Having the kids play together is the way to go. Otherwise you will end up in different lands with each child. it is so much fun! On our last trip with the kids, we ended up going to MK everyday to play. Have fun!

How much time do you have to allocate before you can break?

Do you have to finish one portal or one villain before stopping to do rides or wait til the next day?

1. As others have said, Fire Station will not be open that early. You might be able to get set up at the smaller kiosk behind the Christmas Shop in Liberty Square instead of back tracking all the way to the Fire Station though ( assuming that kiosk is open ).

2. You can chose which land your FIRST villain is in. Once you finish that land, the game randomly chooses where to send you next. All of the portals are in Adventureland, Frontierland / Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Main Street. You will visit some of these lands multiple times.

3. Yes, they can. Fighting MAY ensue, that rather depends on your kids, and how you deal with them. My kids (too old for that behavior now) knew from the onset that if they behaved that way, we would return to the hotel and sit on our rumps for the day. Having them play 3 separate games is guaranteed to have them going to different portals at the same time. Worse, I can pretty well guarantee when they finish the first land, they will be sent to two or three different lands at the same time. In short, that isn't going to work. Coach them ahead of time about what is acceptable behavior, and what the consequences will be if they can not get along.

4. As much, or as little as you want. There is no need to finish the game. I find it takes my older kids and I several hours to play all the way through the game, I would assume that it would take you a fair bit longer with young kids, but you can set an amount of time you want to play, and then move on. You can play for an hour, then do a ride or two, have lunch, and play for another hour. You can come back 2 days later, and play some more. Use it to fill in dead space in your trip.

each portal takes about a minute or two, no need to finish all the portals in one area, you can move on as early as you like just remember the portal you were supposed to go to next and continue the game later or another day.
If you forget which portal you were supposed to go to you can tap at any portal and it will remind you

FWIW" Christmas Shoppe check-in has been closed for a couple of years.

I am going to add on to the questions. We are doing two MK days. Can we get cards both days?

No, 3 people playing together do not all need to do a portal each day. They will all be able to get a new pack of cards each if at least one person has opened a portal.

Only the "keyholder" (the one of the 3 that signs up as the "keyholder") can open the portal so once the keyholder opens the "next" portal assigned, all can return to the Fire House check-in and pick up a new pack of cards each day.

I thought I had read recently that it was open again . . . perhaps that was just for a high crowd day.

Nope. All of the computer hardware was moved to the Fire House a few years ago, I want to say early '15. Hasn't been opened or staffed since.

There was still the sign and "table" for it but it's not there anymore finally.

something to note, adults can also get cards each day so the adults should signup with the same game as well and just disperse the your cards to your kids. it will not impact the game to not play along.

The official answer for how long is the game takes about 6 hours and you don't need to finish the same day, or year. I wouldn't worry about the time, just enjoy the portals as your going around.

Absolutely agreed about not worrying as far as time, or if you are gong to finish. We just play when we don't have anything else planned to do, and let it fit in where it will.
