I’m sorry Kitty, losing your mom is so hard. My mom’s anniversary is in 2 weeks. So this will be my first Mother’s Day without her & I had my first birthday without her a few days ago too. I’m lucky to be so close to my siblings. Plus we have great kids & grandkids, I see my parent’s legacy in all of them. I'm so sorry. I lost my mom almost 5 years ago - she was 90 and lived with us.
Her last few months were horrible - spinal stenosis.

I knew it would be a blessing and I thought I was ready ( I knew she was ready).
You're never ready.

Oh Kitty. I am so very sorry. I lost my mom two years ago (she was 79) and I am still very much grieving. It doesn’t matter how old we are. It is so hard to lose them.
