Soon to be released movies

Anyone know what is playing (movie wise) on the ships over the holidays? Also, what (Disney/Miramax/Pixar etc) is being released over the holidays? I am going on the WOnder in early January and want to avoid seeing movies over the holiday that I will be able to see on board. I am not up on who produces what or what is expected to be released.

i suppose you could call DCL and ask them what will be showing on board the ship..

There are two "brands" used by Disney -- Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone Pictures. Disney also owns Miramax and Miramax's Dimension subsidiary, but Miramax is run by its own management. Disney has closed down Hollywood Pictures.

Chances are that any recent Walt Disney Pictures releases will be showing on the DCL ships. The other three labels are likely to be represented only by selected movies that don't venture too far into adult subject matter.

DCL also books some second-run movies from other distributors.

Yuck, I checked out those links to see what was being released and that's not much of anything! I guess everyone was too afraid to go up against LOTR: ROTK. Oh well, from what I've read on this board, there isn't much time for movie watching anyway.

very good point....we didn't have time for the movies on our cruise...we made a point of coming back from nassau early so that we could watch the special afternoon showing of lilo and stitch (new at the time) on the big screen in the walt disney theatre....but that was the only movie we saw on board...

Hey we were just on the magic and they were showing -
Haunted mansion, Cold Creek Manor, Freaky Friday, Brother Bear, Finding Nemo, Under the Tuscan Sun, Spy Kids 3D, Pirates of the Caribbean and Treasure Planet. Those were the shows for the week Dec. 13-20. Hope that helps - We had an awesome time hope you all do too!!!
