Soon-to-be Pin Traders . . . #, Please!

We are "thisclose" to trying pin trading and have been looking at lots on ebay. There are 4 of us, 2 of whom are staying 6 nights and 2 of whom are staying for 11 (so glad I'm in the latter group ). How many pins would you recommend we start with? Thanks!

That all depends on how much you get into the trading and enjoy it. If you haven't done it before then it is very hard to judge. Some people are happy with just a handful of pins to have in their pocket to trade when they see something special or they trade for the fun of trading and often trade the pin they get for something else. Some people enjoy trading so much that they trade pretty much constantly walking through the parks and often bring home quite a few pins that they want to keep. My wife Suzi is like that and needs at least 20 pins a day to keep her happy and trading. Sorry I don't have a number to help you with, but it is kind of a personal thing and the type of trading you intend to do.

Our first trip for pin trading.....

We started out with no pins and bought the lanyards and the baby box sets while we were at Disney. So we each had about 20 pins for the week, and about $100 per person. We had a lot of fun trading these but it was very addicting and could have traded many many more! We just kept a loop going with the same pins for the week, and it was very hard to decide which ones to trade and which ones to keep!

This trip......

We are going for 15 days, there are 3 of us going, and we have been buying pins all year when we could get a good deal online for them, and we have about 20 pins per person per day to trade!!!! It will be a fun pin trading frenzy!!!!
