I'll start by saying I am a novice. I have a Sony DSC-W80 camera that allows me to take video. Now I can download this video to my computer and it saves it as a .MPG file. I ultimately would like to burn these onto a DVD that can be used in any regular DVD player for viewing. Does anyone have any info on how I can accomplish this? Do they need to be turned into a different type of file first, and if so, how do I do that? Do I need a special software for burning these to DVD ( I do have Pinnacle and Nero, but both say that they do not support the files.. Pinnacle gives me a "not enabled for PAL" message....the video output in the main settings of the camera is set to NTSC) I have looked through the handbook but have found no info on this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
