Son in different room~ charging?

On our upcoming trip in June, our son will be staying in the room with my brother but we'd like for his charges to go onto our account. Will this work? If anyone has done this before~ did it work well throughout the trip? We've just never done this before and would like to hear other's experiences if this is even possible.

I think the front desk can make it so his charges go to a certain credit card. We stayed in a room with our niece and her mom and they were able to link their magic bands to their own credit card.

They definitely can link different Magic Bands to different Credit Cards when in the same room. I have never heard of them being able to do this across rooms.

This is what I was wondering. I know if both my brother and son were going to be on the same credit card that I use for my room~ I could just use the same credit card for both of them. But I didn't know if I could have just my son added to our card and not my brother.

Won't really be a huge deal as far as charges ~ we can just go back at the end of the trip and add up what my son charged and pay that amount to my brother. Thankfully on the list of charges you can see who charges what so that will make that easier. I think the main issue will be IF we get the summer meal deal where you get one counter service meal per day per person (staying at ASMo). Again, we can figure that out~ would just make life easier if we could switch his stuff to our card.

My brother is single and my son is staying in his room for space~ my son will be 18 when we go and my daughter 20~ plus it saves on the extra charge per night for another adult for my room.

I was hoping this was possible, but I've never heard of it occurring or tried to do it myself. Hoping someone on here has done it and it is possible.

Yes, you can request certain MBs to use a specific CC, even for 2 different rooms, you just need to have a CM do it when you check-in. The CM will link each MB to a certain room # and a certain CC.

I can also confirm this can be done. We did this at POP in 2017. My little brother was staying in my room but his Magic Band was linked to my parent’s CC.

Like previously stated a front desk CM took care of it. I think we did it on check in day but actually after our initial check in and it worked beautifully.

Just make sure that it's set up properly. I happened to stop and get a copy of my charge statement at the front desk on check out day as we were leaving. I discovered that everything was billed to my credit card and not split as the CM assured me that he had set up in the system. I was able to get everything straightened out, but missed my ME. Disney actually sent us by cab to the airport, but this could have been a nightmare to remedy if we had left the resort.
