Also I have at least one or two drinks a day, change my clothes several times a day, pose for pictures/take selfies, dance with DH every chance we get, chat with total strangers, not check my e-mail, not watch any TV, stay totally in the moment and savor it all, which is probably the biggest departure from my regular routine!

The breakfast buffet or different foods than I usually have. Usually at home my breakfast consists of a bowl of cereal with milk and juice.

Since our vacations have always been WDW, DCL, Universal Studios and Vegas - I always take pictures of the hotel room before the family brings in our stuff and messes it up. Once DH & I start going on trips where we use everyday type hotels I wont do that anymore.

Love going for a big breakfast, but those I travel with have a much different sleep pattern than I do, as in I'm alone for hours waiting for the lazy to finally stir. I would have found it weird to go to breakfast by myself but now that I'm divorced, it's not so weird.

Other travels are by bicycle and we just stop anywhere that is fast. It got to be a pain packing up camp and reloading the bikes while trying to boil water, eat oatmeal, and clean it all off while others who don't eat breakfast or in my case my buddy and wife doubling up on the packing vs. the rest of us single folks having to breakdown by ourselves. Thus the married fools (hehehe ) are always waiting on us.

That's one small problem with any kind of hiking or bicycle, even motorcycle travel. You can't get help packing from those who are done because it's your stuff and needs packed how you know you need it packed.

I love specifically the ocean. Our first trip to the beach was a quickly planned long weekend and I warned my wife that she'll be taking care of the girls because I haven't been to the beach since I was a kid and I'll be out in the water the whole time. I go out til noon, come in to eat lunch in the room on the balcony, back out in the water until 5, shower, dinner, and evening doing what she wanted to do.

I'll go out past the breakers and fall half asleep floating on my back for hours.

Spend without guilt (not like a heiress or anything but I say yes more) and it is glorious.
Fast food burger at the airport and engage in the family tradition of debating the merits of special sauce (yay) V charbroil (nay) in addition to which fries are better.
We also enjoy breakfasts, in particular we'll get an order or side of french toast to split as a kind of breakfast dessert treat
