Another glorious and hot day today, didn’t do the parks but offsite again, I do think we are spending less and less time in the parks than we used to, but loving every second of just being in Orlando.

@angryduck71 We both thought of you today, but sadly didn’t get a picture. We saw a Brent Spiner lookalike walking along with a very fake Stormtrooper???? Star Wars meets Star Trek never looked so odd! Sometimes you’re better not asking



Now trying to decide where to go for dinner tonight…….decisions decisions

We are having a very relaxing time this trip, not sure we’ve done a lot, but it’s been fun!

Thank you, I do love my short hair, much easier and quicker to wash, dry and style twice a day…..and thank you, yes he is a star with his running, and it’s such a social hobby, he has some lovely friends that all love running too and they are so nice….and so full of energy too lol…..

I was not embarrassed by how many oysters I ate, can’t say the same for Tom, he was into prime rib and I’m still on the oysters!

The weather has been beautiful, one morning and two evenings of rain isn’t bad, temps have been perfect for us in the high 80’s with no humidity. I read some idiot write a couple of weeks ago May was usually hotter than July/August…..er, no!! This is one happy lizard!

Thank you, only a few days left but a lot of catching up with friends over that time too, but not long till we’re back

The weather has been glorious for sure, tonight we were in a restaurant and I was getting cold, as soon as we were finished I headed outside to warms up! I am a lizard!

We most certainly are having fun, always enjoy our time here……hope you’re doing good right now and not working too hard

Your relaxing trip sounds just wonderful! I love the Orlando area and of course the coasts and beaches. I know you love the heat, but you have me wondering if next May might be a bit too hot for me. (not for fellow lizard, Robin, though). We would go the first of May, or somewhere around there. Since we've never been in May it will be an adventure. I've been to Florida in July once, Once, and we survived,so I think we will be fine in May. You never know what will happen with Florida weather Loving your TR!

We are thinking about running up and doing a quick day at Epic Universe to get it out of the way so to speak. We want to come up in the next two weeks before peak season kicks in.

It has been incredible, the heat this time of year is unusual, warmest May since 1983, I’m glad we’re not going to be here this weekend, it looks brutal! Yes, we’ve done July and August too, we survived! Plenty of water and aircon with plenty of breaks and it works fine.

Robin and I can be lizards together, I don’t know any other lizards so we would do fine together, us lizards stick together

We can’t quite believe the trip is at an end again, but it’s not long till we’re back again in September.

Finished the trip off in a lovely way, down at Bar Helios with so many folks we adore, it feels new and familiar at the same time, beautiful bar with amazing food and drinks.

Tomorrow we pack up, have breakfast, spend some time in the lounge and then head to the airport and drop the car off before chilling time it’s time for the flight home. Already checked in, now having a lot of tea we had delivered from room service and it’ll be bed soon.

We’re going back to 56F going to a massive 60F midweek….lol…..big difference between that and 104F!

Will be starting this TR as soon as jet lag is over and done with

Well, we’re only home a few hours and can feel the eyes trying to close without my permission, but I have done two laundry loads, put everything away we bought, sorted out everyone’s gifts including those Tide Pens and sent some emails!

Going to order Indian food fairly early for us then try to stay awake till 10pm our time, but not sure that’s going to happen. Jet lag sucks!!! (But worth it )

Ruth - thot it was cool for Carole today, you win - sadly! I was just whining after discovering our unseasonably warm forecast near 90’s next week has shifted from the big storms that rolled across the country. Now, lucky to hit 50 degrees mid week, other days barely in low 60’s. Boo

Robin is spoiled a bit. She has been to Sanibel twice in the last month!!!! I'm surprised she even came home, LOL. It was with 2 different people and she couldn't say no to that!
We are out of our hot spell in the 90's and are now in the 30's!!! with possible rain/snow tonight.....
No, no, no. I'm going to move south before long for sure................

lol.....Robin is living life to the full and why not, do what you love when you can! How lovely she got to visit twice.

I am not jealous of your low temps for sure, wow that is quite the difference and yes, I`m happy to not win that competition with the cold!!

I know we`ve had snow in June in the UK before but it is pretty rare, we tend to stay pretty standard most of the time, I`m looking forward to a heatwave in the UK this summer, we might even hit 85F for a couple of days, yep and we`ll feel grateful for that too lol

The woman in Publix thought I was a little odd to say the least when I asked if they had more than what was available from the well stocked shelf, she did look at me very weirdly when I said I wanted more

I`m just glad we never get stopped by customs, try explaining 45 Tide Pens to someone who has probably never even heard of them!!

A high of 54F for us today, so yes, you have my sympathy.....but and this is a good but, I get all the laundry out on the line today as there is no rain forecast!!! Yes, I`m a sad person at times that getting all my washing out on the lines makes me so happy lol.....

Thanks, it`s always good to be home especially knowing it`s not too long till we`re back.

I told everyone they`ll get their treats sometime in the week, to be fair we didn`t bring back too much this time for friends apart from those much loved pens!!!
