On saturday I lost a very precious friend, Marti Allen. She died of Crests disease, after battling it for more than 7 years. This wonderful person who is home with God and whole, is the kind of person I want to be. Totally unselfish, with a sacrifishal heart, and loving giving spirit. It has made me think about some of the negativity I have seen on pin boards. Some more than others. I posted to one just recently. Here is some of what I said, and I thought it might be good for us all to consider, ponder and think about.

"Yes, I do consider prayer a much more important effort than trying to get pins. I also consider it important to think about what you say, that you don't hurt anyones feelings, whether it be directly or indirectly done. In your post you refer to over-weight people even. I took that personal. Weight is something I have battled all my life. It is not because of my elbow either. It is people who have never walked a day in my shoes (life) who find it simple and easy to target those who have difficulties and handicaps that are hard challenged and need help, consideration and understanding, from those who know nothing about what we go through.
I am beginning to read a book, "Purpose Driven Life". It has changed many lives already and I look forward to it changing mine. My life has already been changed because of the personal relationship I have with God and His Son, Jesus Christ. One purpose I feel I have in this life is to look out for those who are hurting and to encourage them. To be a stepping stone and not a stumbling block. Perhaps we would all be better suited as part of the human race as well as pin traders if we took on this attitude.
Something to think about.
Blessings to you irregardless,
As always,
Winnie "

PS: I covet your prayers as I have been asked to sing for her Memorial on this coming wednesday. This is going to be one of the hardest things I have ever done. I appreciate your prayers of support.
