"Ode to the Handwich"
Off to Tomorrowland we'd go
to ride Space Mountain
or catch a show
what fun we'd have
what joy,
what glee,
so much so that we'd be hungry,
but there is just no time
Momma would say
we have way too much
to see today...
but Disney was thinking
they knew what to do
many other guests were hungry too...
we needed something to eat
while making a mad dash
across the park
even when there was not yet "Splash"
our meal of choice
so fun and so neat
was a hollowed out bun
stuffed full of meat
the Handwich she said
is what we will eat.
ok...so I'm a dork...but didn't ya'll just love the Handwich...as far as I could recall you could get them in Tomorrowland just below the Astro-orbiter or at the Land in EPCOT. They were soooo cool and I only ever got the Chicken BBQ so I don't remember what other "stuffins" they had in them...but it was a hollowed out sub roll that you held upright and could eat without making a mess all around the MK...pretty cool huh? Am I the only one who adored this culinary masterpiece...I actually made some for dinner on night a few months ago!
