Something strange about booking Oct dining

We booked our 180 days yesterday and had issue with Biergarten too. Finally booked for 3:05 late in our trip. You would think over 12 nights, one would show up available...not. Checked again this morning, nada. We were able to book other Epcot ressies like Rose and Crown, San Angel, Via Napoli and Nine Dragons, no problems. So it makes me wonder too if Biergarten doesnt have something special going on during F&W.

What date were you able to book the Biergarten 3:05pm for? My 180+10 day is Friday and would so love to snag an ADR there

You're SO not alone!!! I'm still trying to make some ADRs for Sept, but NOTHING is showing as available! But when I called, there are all kinds of openings!!!

I put in 'Epcot' and 'no preference' and NOTHING came up!!

I wonder if it's a problem with the website??

I called twice to see if maybe it was the website too. Unfortunately they had the same availability as I did.....nothing before 5:50 PM (except Akershus and Bistro de Paris) and NO Biergarten, although they confirmed that it was NOT under refurbishment and totally open for booking. The CM thought it all very odd, but had no explanation.

There is another strange thing. The dinner shows (Aloha, HDDR, Mickey's BBQ) only have dates online through the 16th. I called and was able to get reservations after that.

Very odd. Who knows maybe Disney is getting ready to go back to using the 90 Day ADR like it was back in what 2009? What with the decrease in discounts and FD offers the need to book 180 out might become a thing of the past.

Maybe the call centre isn't getting many calls so they are not loading all the reservations into the system online so that they are busier and therefore needed empolyees.

Hey folks

DW is online right now and able to book Biergarten for time she wants. Still crazy where we cant book Olivias or Kouzzina for breakfast, normally those arent a problem. Anyway, may be worth a try for those having trouble.

The online system gave me a hard time I put in my ressie # but it would not let me book the 180+10 only the two ressies I wanted for our arrival day so I ended up calling for all the rest, I tried from 6-7am on line it was very frustrating.

I did get the Biergarten and everything else I wanted the time I wanted or very close within 5-20 minutes

I am so glad it is done now , no more agonizing over it anymore

I had issues this morning too. I switched from Firefox to IE and it then let me do the 180+ days. Not sure why firefox was giving me issues. The only one I couldn't do online was Fantasmic.

Strange I was using IE but I haven't downloaded the most recent one yet maybe that is why

The funny thing is I held off downloading the new version of IE because I was afraid of having issues and then I had issues anyhow

Same problem here! System only let me book the first day stay reservation but not the + 10 even though I put in my hotel reservation #. It kept bumping me to enter my email again which I put in a thousand times already then gave an error message!

Gave up, called in and got the ressies I was looking for. Oh, and I use IE.

Did those of you that made your adr's over the phone have any porblems getting the times and places you wanted when you phoned?

I got everthing I wanted and most for the exact times I wanted, a couple were within 5-20mins of the times I wanted so I am happy

Yes, it was very frustrating not being able to get anywhere on line.

Disney kept poking at me by letting me get all the way to having the time of the ressie set and getting ready to show me the confirm. # and it would go to an error screen or bump me to a place to provide an email address which I had already done!

I got on the phone by 7:30 and got all the times exactly as I wanted including 2 reservations at 8:05 for CP.

I had to laugh though because while I waited on the phone "for the next available representative" the message was "save time and book on line" REALLY because I tried that and you wouldn't let me in!

I am just glad I could get someone to help me get the reservations done. The phone CM was a very sweet woman and it was a pleasure to speak with her!

Just wanted to add my post.....I sat down today thinking I would be totally fine booking ADR's for our October trip and boy was I surprised! I couldn't get any time I wanted, especially around the 5:00 range. I'm just going to go back and play around again to see what I can move around and hopefully get what I want. Hoping it's just a glitch....

Sorry to hear that. I hope you can get it all worked out for times you want. I ended up having to call this am since the system would not acknowledge my resort reservation and let me make the 180+10

My 5pm ADRs are all at resort restaurants 'Ohana & Cape May

My Dinners in Epcot are later 6:30-7:30 time frame.

My two I was disappointed in were Akershus I wanted 8am but could only get 8:15 which is fine

San Angel I wanted 2:00 or later for lunch but had to take 1:40 the only available time, the CM said they might be having an event for F&W Fest. that afternoon. I knew Via Napoli was only showing 12:45 online and 11:30 & 12:45 by phone so I switched it to dinner one evening and changed my Biergarten to a lunch

sjs314, I'm glad you were able to work out all your ADR's. I got the majority of mine just now at sort of the times I wanted, but I'm still stumped on 2 places I really want that I can't seem to get. Fortunately we are staying CL, so I just emailed IPO and asked if they could get my final 2 ADR's. We'll see....I'm looking for 4:00 Garden Grill and 7:30 Ohana. Those both seem do-able, especially this far in advance!
