I've been debating booking one-way for October 30 and then booking November 7 when that month is released at Jetblue.com
I was debating the PROS and CONS of one-way with the biggest CON being extra security.
Also, because my vacation ends with a cruise, I didn't want my flight home to be too early in the morning (or we couldn't make it) and not too late in the day as what would we do with ourselves?
I saw a while ago that when I would plug in round trips in October for Sundays, they only had either 10:10a or 5:25p for the flight home which are both stinky times for a cruise. They also were expensive; $114. plus taxes.
Well, this morning I was doing all kinds of searches in October. One-way & round-trip and this is what I found out.
When I did one-way on a Sunday (coming home flights), there were different times than round trip. The one-way times were 6:30a, 2:35p and 5:25p. The 2:35p would be great! Also, they were only $79 or $94.
Then I'd go back and do that same date but round-trip and the 2:35p time would go away and there would only be 7:45a, 10:10a and 5:25p and they'd be more money: between $114 or $117 or even higher.
So, for the Sundays in October I get better times and rates booking one-way! For me this is another PRO to booking one-way.
I thought I would share this with you all!
