Mornin'! FRIDAY!

I rode my bike today and got to work earlier than normal? It felt kind of good passing all those gas stations with $3.35 signs out front.

Did anyone catch Survivor tonight? I'm VERY happy Joel is gone. :rotfl: :rotfl:

That was a great move by Cirie to get the others on board to vote his butt off.

Count me in as a Survivor Fan - seen every episode since day 1. Good to see that Kathy and Chet (the weakest) are still in it.

Perhaps Joel got a little KARMA for backstabbing Mikey and his girlfriend.

:)

And TODD....yep...I watch Survivor....LOVED that Joel was shocked it was him! :lmao:  :lmao: Good for him....and Cirie...(altho, not a Cirie fan, good for her! :thumbsup2 )

I really like Cirie - perhaps cause she is similar to me. I always try and pick the Survivor that is like me. Cirie is close in age and size to me. As well as her lack of strength and survival skills. I really like her this time as she is THINKIN' way early.

Good Morning Fletch.

Although I am not at the office, I did get up early at the house to review some tax returns.

Someone please explain why Fletch and I are up before 5:30am.:confused3

:)

Janet - we are expecting that snow storm also. I am sure Hubby will get to the store to buy his french toast fixins.

One of the broadway tours of HAIRSPRAY is going to be in Morgantown (30 minute drive) Saturday and DS and I are going with sister and family. DH is already telling me I will need to cancel. (Did I mention he is :scared1: of driving in snow.) I said, tickets are paid for and I'm not driving anyway, so we'll see.

Tricia - We went to Disney when DS was 4-5 and stayed in Toy Story Building. We actually scored a room on the bottom floor right beside the Woody/Buzz plaza. (we did go in September) Your boys are the right age for this. Every time we came back to the hotel, we got to see the display. I don't know if you have seen this or not - I will look for some pics this weekend.

The All Star hotels seem to get bad reviews but we loved this. We only had 3 in the room, but the rooms are pretty small (especially compared to our Hard Rock Deluxe Queen we had in 2006:) ).

All those not doing tax returns today - Have a nice day.:)

P.S. Good for Tricia for getting her records to her CPA. We appreciate clients that dont' drop off their stuff on the 14th.

:) Jennifer

habits are hard to break

well, off to work soon.
catch you when the skool bell rings or whenever i can sneak on to the internet during the day....

Think Marcie fainted yet when they told her how much to add a 16 year old to her auto insurance?:scared:

Unfortunately, you don't ADD, you MULTIPLY! :scared1: By about a factor of 4! And that's only adding him as a secondary driver on our car. Once we buy a new car (for us) and list him as a primary driver on the minivan, it'll be even more! (Yep, I need some more dead smilies!)!

Tricia - We went to Disney when DS was 4-5 and stayed in Toy Story Building. We actually scored a room on the bottom floor right beside the Woody/Buzz plaza. We stayed at the All Stars 3 times when the boys were younger. We enjoyed it then, but I'd NEVER do it again now. I could care less about the room size - trust me, I've stayed in much smaller rooms many times. But the noise and obnoxiousness level (primarily groups) I could just not handle again. I'd stay at POR (someone was asking about that) again, but given the choice would stay with Coronado Springs, which we loved. So many people there for conventions that you feel like you have your own private resort, food court, pools, buses, etc.!

But yeah, Tricia - your kids are the right age. When we took Matt there the first time (at 3 - Sports), as we walked around his eyes just got wider and wider. Finally as we walked up a huge Coke cup staircase, he turned to my husband and said very solemnly, "Daddy, THIS is GOOD!" :rotfl:

And Jennifer - how about folks like us who've had our refunds back for a month or so now already?! :yay:

I have some very tired kids here. Our basketball team made it to the state tourney out in Madison (again, near 3 hours from here). The kids had an early release yesterday to take the buses out there for the game (older 2 in pep band). Unfortunately, although the team was up 36-29 in the 4th quarter, shortly afterwards it was 36-39 (the other team!). They just fell apart and ended up losing by about 8 I think. But they didn't get home until about midnight. So I'm letting them sleep in and go in after first hour (which nets them 2 hours of extra sleep with the bus time, etc.).

Then have to go drive Eric after second hour back to the middle school and head to work! Yeah, I'm still trying to "bank" hours for these upcoming trips so I'll go sit and twiddle my thumbs today and pretend to be working so I can get those hours in. SO pointless. I'd so much rather just not get paid and not be there. Sigh! Try to catch you all later!

Well yes in a way trying to go cold turkey but trying to wing myself by instead of smoking like one every few mins to maybe one every 45 mins and then going on to 1 an hour and so on and in the past have almost quit that way but just about everyone I knew smoked so it made it hard and now no one really comes around me that smokes so maybe it will stick this time :lmao: and to the rest of the homies a Good Morning

Hey peeps,
Looks like I've got lots of ketchuping up to do. :scared1: I don't think it will be tonight thought. Another bad day for me. :sad2: I'll ketchup tomorrow. I did read Tricia's Daytona trippie. Great read, Tricia. It looked like you guys had a blast. You & Brad make a cute couple. As for the biker bar..........

I hope you get relief from your pain soon Tammy. I'll give you a very gentle

Glad you enjoyed the Daytona TR. The biker bar was an experience. Leather Lady that kept flashing me... yeah... there are some things you can't un-see...

I haven't seen Survivor in 3 or 4 seasons. Sorry. But, if you're happy then I'm happy! :woohoo:

come back pui............you are so cute when you do....

No adult beverages for me last night. I was having some tummy issues. I have to share a funny story, but it involves bodily functions... so if you don't want to read about it, stop now.

We had bacon & eggs for dinner. My tummy, apparently, didn't want bacon & eggs and it started complaining about 20 mins after we ate. I could sit there and listen to my stomach gurgle. Inevitably, I had terrible gas hit me. I mean bad. Daniel crawled up in my lap and patted me on the head and said, "You okay Mommy? You stinky. You want draw-draw-berry (strawberry) medicine?" :lmao:

I need to loose weight before Aug. 29th as my sister is getting married and I need to fit into that bridesmaids dress. .

Bridesmaids dress? A real live from-a-bridal-store bridesmaids dress? You HAVE to come back and post pictures. Bridesmaids dresses are usually either beautiful or butt ugly... there doesn't seem to be an in-between.

Let me know if the cheese sandwich debate brakes out again. I'm thinking you should suggest something along the lines of a PB&J. Maybe there will be a fist fight.

I HATE WRITING PAPERS!

OK....vent over....continue about your business.......

Awww... Katie...

I haveta agree with Barb. Shortest vent ever.

And, oh, you may never see me again. Mike and I took a nap this afternoon, and I had a really hard time getting outta bed!

 It's an evil people-trapping bed! Run for your life!

Oh no just when ya think the real bad weather may be done he we go got a major storm starting to hit tonight so don't know how bad its going to get .
So good night homies going to take some meds and try to get some sleep.

I hope you got some rest Lawrence and the storms weren't too bad.

I will add...yes....VERY cute of the boys....especially Daniel...you can just 'see' it's him in his face....he hasn't changed....

Yep. The only thing that has changed about Daniel is that his face lost the baby chubby thing... and his hair has gotten lighter. It was Auburn when he was born, but it is more of a strawberry blonde now.

Mornin'! FRIDAY!

I rode my bike today and got to work earlier than normal? It felt kind of good passing all those gas stations with $3.35 signs out front.

It's great you live somewhere that you can ride your bike to work. Brad can walk to work and does most of the time. Of course, we can SEE work from our house.

Someone please explain why Fletch and I are up before 5:30am.:confused3

If you don't know... I sure don't know... :confused3

When Joshua was 3, that's exactly where we stayed. We were on a ground floor room with the giant Buzz and Woody outside our windows. We took this one morning right outside our room:

And, yes, I was a good girl and turned my records over to the CPA several weeks ago... so we got our return back this week, signed them, cut the check, and they are in the mail.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Ours isn't that high yet either. :scared1:

it's in the teens here...

Awww... Mac...

I know you must be ready for the cold to go away.

And, thanks for the MNSSHP info. I'll have to keep an eye out for that stuff. I just figured that since you can book every other damn thing at WDW 5 years in advance, that they'd have the dates set and tickets available.

We haven't booked, yet. Still playing around with ideas and trying to make sure we actually have the money to go. It would help if all of Joshua's medical bills were done, so we'd know how much all that is gonna be. Sigh.

We've stayed at the All Star resorts more times than I can count. Music, Sports, Movies and Pop. We stayed at Sports the year they opened (and have one of "those" refillable mugs...). The only time we ever had a problem with noise was one visit when we were put right in front of the pool and there was a group of teens that wouldn't call it a night. We called security, as it was after "pool closed" hours, and that was the end of the problem. Other than that, as long as we don't hit the food court at peak hours, we've never encountered anything I would consider intolerable.

I've stayed at Coronado Springs. Both with my family and as a conventioner. It was nice.

Sorry the team lost, but it sounds like they had a good season. Good luck with "work" today!

off to pay money to have some guy poke me in the eyes

Hey, that sounds like fun!

I have to get my eyes checked sometime soon. And make an appointment for the OB/GYN. Fun, fun, FUN!

Of course. Draw draw berry. I don't know where that came from (and we don't baby talk it back to him), but it is cute. I know it won't last long. Another one that gets me is, "sha-sha-poo". Took me forever to figure out what that was. Sha sha poo coming from Daniel means "bath". :confused3
